My wife and I were ignored while others were served. The only reason I can think of is because I was wearing a hat indicating that I am a veteran. The young staff working on Sunday was busy doing everything but trying to serve us. We left and went to the Waffle House near the Pilot and were served promptly. This store used to be really good. We won't go back.

Very strange, you only think of waffles (it's called Waffle House) but you can eat anything. Waffle was very tasty and service was friendly.

I used to love eating here but now when you go all you see is the manager treating her staff horribly. If the manager cooks the food it’s not edible. She’s super unprofessional and I have never seen such a toxic environment at a dine in restaurant. My heart goes out to the staff who have to be in that environment and constantly be put down and belittled by their own manager. Just remember you guys are the reason we all come in and enjoy our meal. Sadly me and my family will not be returning anymore.

Every ten years or so I forget why I don't eat at Waffle House then I eat there and it all comes back. This particular Waffle House was a stark reminder of the same things that turned me off of them. I ordered two eggs over easy, bacon, hash browns and wheat toast. The eggs were swimming in oil with puddles of oil in the eggs! The hash browns are fried in oil! The bacon was actually pretty good and well, it was toast. Sat at the counter and watched the staff of 8 or9 people calling out orders and some "diner lingo" to make food for maybe 10 people but you'd think they were serving 100+ by all the activity and yelling out instructions to each other! Hopefully this stays fresh in my mind for another ten years so I don't do this again.

Waffle House has become an iconic presence on the culinary landscape here in the southeastern United States. It seems that their familiar logo beckons in all of its bright yellow neon glory road-weary travelers, partying college kids, parents with kids in tow, hungry workers seeking a casual and quick sit-down meal and just about everyone else from every walk of life.Since Waffle House opened its first location back on September 5, 1955 in Avondale Estates, Georgia, it quickly established itself by offering a consistent selection of food and by being open twenty-four hours a day.For me, the biggest appeal of Waffle House has always been their hash browns, which you can get basic or topped with a variety of toppings such as chili, white sausage gravy, cheese, ham, onions and so many more items and you can combine these toppings in a multitude of ways. For my main course, I have usually gone with their patty melts or one of their egg breakfast options. I myself can see the strangeness that I have never had a waffle in a business where waffle is in their very name, but I prefer a more savory breakfast than a sweet one.If you are in the southeast United States, odds are you have probably passed a Waffle House location. It seems that they are on almost every major highway exit ramp and strategically placed throughout most cities and towns in the southeast. If you see one, give them a try.
