We had been to Bacchus on the Beach multiple times and always enjoyed it. We had company coming into town so we decided to try "The Bayou" ... similar menus and it didn't disappoint. We had the Monday Pork Chop Special which was amazing, the Bacchus Burger which is so delicious and generous in size it provides two meals. Other entrees were blackened chicken with a delicious cajun alfredo type sauce. Yum! Last was the fried shrimp which was great and a generous serving too. All said it was a wonderful experience and our guests loved it too.

The food, for the price, lacks in taste and portion size. We ordered a specialty entree ($35 each) and still had to go to another restaurant after in order to fill up. Hopefully they are still working the kinks out... I'd say if atmosphere is your priority, this might be your place. If great tasting food in reasonable portions is your priority, then I would avoid this location (OS).
