Traveling with a cat, the staff was very friendly about seating us with her in the outdoor seating area. Ordered the Bayou salad with broiled shrimp and I will definitely be back to have it again

The view is calm and relaxing with pelicans getting their own seafood. Enjoyed a most delicious slice of pecan pie that had a rich and carmel flavor to it. Seafood was fresh and the service was attentive.

Usually very satisfied eating here but our food this time was a bit past golden brown but still good. I recommend this restaurant.

Meh food..awkward location if you're walking. Great patio. Attentive servers. This town needs more restaurants open on Sunday and Monday!

McElroy's hit the spot while having lunch with friends- the view is so peaceful and the food is dependably southern! They pour a mean glass of wine! As in a good pour- enjoy!

Ate with a large party, about 40. We were in a single area and spaced apart. Everything was on point. Service was friendly, food delicious and hot. And my goodness, the view of the water caught my eye the whole time I was there. Highly recommend this place.

Food is perfect, view is amazing. Finally, someone who knows how to cook an egg over easy. Shrimp and grits were on point.

We always hear amazing things about this restaurant, but we left incredibly disappointed. There was still syrup all over the table they sat us down at, when asked the price of a Bloody Mary our server just said she didn’t know (no effort was made to find out either), by the time our food came it didn’t even matter that one of the orders was wrong we just wanted to eat and go. The waitress never came by, and she also didn’t bring things we had stopped and asked her for like creamer. For a $42 breakfast this was a terrible experience! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat here unless they enjoy bad service, dirty tables during a pandemic, and the wrong food!

The food was outstanding. Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked. The view of the Bayou was relaxing and the server was friendly, attentive and plain great!! Only complaint..we wanted to order wine, but the only chardonnay in a bottle on the menu was not available. They had a house wine, but could not sell by the bottle only the glass. Otherwise...good experience.

Go early . Because this place is not a secret. The breakfast is consistently good . I have gone dozens of times and it’s always good. The only time that I was disappointed there were closed for cleaning. There open now and it’s good . Shrimp n grits. Every time.
Let’s just say COVID-19 safety is not a priority for this restaurant. Hostesses greeted us with their masks under their chin. Our waitress and most of the other waitresses were wearing theirs properly, but all the bussing staff weren’t wearing theirs at all. The lady that brought our appetizer out didn’t have a mask on. Customers were allowed to walk in and out without a mask. First place we’ve been too while visiting MS that I felt unsafe. All the other businesses we’ve been in have followed the guidelines.

It's very good. Not the best of places for a tourist spot, but still very good. This place should be everywhere.

This is a very scenic place to enjoy delicious food and service! I enjoyed one of the luncheon specials.

Server approached table with mask on her chin. I told her to pull it up - she did then but delivered our food and bill with it pulled down. I mentioned it again and she got a real pissy attitude. I was wondering if she had spit on the food. The gumbo was horrible- The shrimp looked like tiny canned shrimp

Server had mask on but not covering nose or mouth so basically no mask. Oysters on half shell great. Gumbo cold. Don’t bother to go here
