When we walked it there was only two other tables seated and we were greeted and sat fairly quickly. Chris was a knowledgeable server with great suggestions and was training a new person. Several other tables came in and soon the staff became overwhelmed at no fault of their own. While the food was overall good and the steak was very tender it was a little on the salty side. We didn't get all of our food in the proper order and prebussing and drink refills were hard to come by. I was given the wrong salad and when I said something I had to get into a debate with the server in training on why it wasn't the salad I ordered. I also got the appetizer part of my 5-course meal after my main course (had to ask for it) while other patrons had already received theirs. It felt like the other tables became the priority. When we got our checks we were incorrectly charged for everything and they tried to tell us it was correct but we showed them the menu and the prices and it was eventually corrected. While I would go back and give them another shot for what I paid I expected more. I am not blaming the server as he was doing the best he could under the circumstances I felt management and other staff could have helped with drink refills and food running to help get through the rush.Parking: There is a number of dedicated free parking spots for the business. We had no issues finding a spot.Wheelchair accessibility: Very limited. The ramp for wheelchairs is not in great condition and it's location was so that you couldn't pull up into the spot and use it… so we parked back and made it work. There was not a clear path to the restroom and the person in the wheelchair had to form a path through the service station to access it… once he got to the restroom he was unable to get inside far enough to shut the door so he had to use the restroom with the door open.

We went to the Phonecia while on vacation in Ocean Springs. I gave 5 stars for food. The food was great, loved it... atmosphere 4 stars the atmosphere is also nice.. I gave one star for service due to the fact that after we looked at our bank account when we got home, my husband found that $20 was added to our final bill.. We left a cash tip for the server my husband always leaves a cash tip).. Apparently he must have felt that 20% was not enough and he gave himself an additional $20 tip... we are calling the Phonecia to complain. Due to the fact an additional $20 was added to the bill without our knowledge after we signed and paid I gave 3 stars

Heard it was good, but . . . After a very long travel day and late night, we tried to go to Phoenicia for brunch. I will admit that we were not dressed fancy, but we were wearing shoes. We waited at the hostess stand for a while. Several employees walked past and did not acknowledge us. We were, however, glared at multiple times by a woman who was clearly there for a private event. Finally, a waitress told us she would find the hostess. The hostess returned and informed us that they were busy setting up a private buffet and could not seat us. What? I understand small kitchen and setting up for an event, but you couldn't offer us a table and coffee while we wait the 30 minutes you said it would be? I hope they had a lovey, snooty event. We had a wonderful breakfast down the street at Blue Dog Bistro.

Great food with professional servers. The coffee had a nice flavor and a large selection of breakfast choices. The crab cake Benedict was good, egg white omelette was perfect for a healthy option. My boys loved the pancakes. Asiago grits were good too!Kid-friendliness: Kid menu available

This was a delicious and wonderful place to spend an evening! The food was INCREDIBLE! The ambience was romantic and fun at the same time. They had a very talented woman playing piano and we enjoyed her so much. The manager(maybe owner not sure)stopped at our table and checked in on us. They don’t sell alcohol but for a 5.00 corking fee we were able to drink wine and gin that we brought with us.

The Phoenicia is a very pretentious restaurant that looks to only cater to the elite just based on their menu prices. Lunch prices for a chicken dish of $29.95 are a slight to the non-elite of the Gulf Coast. They obviously don't want "riff raff" in their restaurant. We don't mind paying for good food at lunch, but we do have limits. There are plenty of high-end restaurants that welcome all patrons. My best friend won't go back because her and another friend we're treated badly by the owner's wife. We're retired and choose not to be taken advantage of by pretentious people or businesses.

Absolutely delicious food. My husband is addicted to the chicken shawarma, but tonight we tried the crabcakes with grits and it was phenomenal. Chris was our server and had the best attitude and service. One of a kind place on the coast!
