I'm here on business from Southern California, so I wanted a taste of the local Mississippi flavor. I went with their Mississippi Slug with the optional Pimiento cheese. It was made perfectly and came with REAL shoestring fries! I've eaten at so many burger places, but this is the first place to make true shoestring style fries. They were light, cooked to a nice light golden brown and lightly crunchy; not overcooked or too oily and well seasoned. I mainly came here for the Crawfish Monica, and it didn't disappoint. Very good creamy flavor with a good amount of crawfish. Under all that pasta, I was surprised with a browned biscuit! I can't say it really adds anything to the dish, but personally I don't really need the extra pounds, so I set it aside. The dish also comes with some lemon, which is a good balance. All of the staff was very friendly; they were having a good amount of business for the afternoon on Tuesday, but everything came out in good time. They have beer and cocktails and also some merch if you're interested, so this is a great option for a weekend lunch or dinner!

The Lady May was our favorite food spot in Ocean Springs! So much so that over 3 days, we went 3 times! The braised beef sandwich, fried pickled okra, and sitting at the bar are the top recommendations. This place is such a great spot!

There are lots of interesting places to eat and drink in Ocean Springs but the Lady May is one of the best. The atmosphere is amazing, especially the courtyard seating. The food was very good. Thinnest shoestring fries I have ever had. Burger was really juicy and very flavorful. We really enjoyed eating there.
Friday morning brunch was superb.Monroe steered us in the right direction.

This was such an amazing place for a great lunch along our road trip. We ate outside on the patio and what an amazing atmosphere on a beautiful day. My wife and I both ordered sandwiches which were pretty decent servings with the shoestring french fries. The drinks here are also well done. This was overall a great dining experience in a nice small town. We're hoping to vacation here specifically in the future.

On a local friend's recommendation we checked out Lady May on a Wednesday for lunch. Plentiful seating and friendly service. Waters and appetizer were quick. The board with jellies and bacon jam were so good! I could've used more bread to clean it up but probably not a good idea as my lunch was HUGE! Grits were creamy but had texture and the beef was so tender. I could've done without the eggs but protein is always good. The biscuit was delicious and use some of the appetizer to put on my biscuit! Neat little goodies to buy to take with. Again, service was so friendly. Definitely a 5/5!
