I want to write a review for this place. My family is Italian so I know pretty good Italian food is. I made an order through doordash and of course, as usual, I get the wrong order. It's something I go through just about every single night because I travel. If you haven't been driven insane by doordash I congratulate you lol . The manager replaced my order and personally brought it over to the hotel I'm staying even though some Desert Inn I would name him but I didn't catch his name I was a little frustrated about my order. This seems like a very nice place and the sauce is really good. I really appreciate you coming over with the order much love !

We came as a large group and we all ordered classic Italian dishes and they were all soooo delicious. Everything is made in house including delicious breads and desserts!! Y’all please come show this literal mom and pop place a lot of love. Such a gem in Oxford, and you don’t have to deal with the nightmarish square traffic.
Was in town for Oxford Film Festival and chose Amore for dinner. Everything was absolutely fabulous! Chicken Picatta was out of this world and tiramisu and lemon cake were heavenly. Everything is made in house. I would drive the 1.5 hours to eat here again. Reasonably priced for large portions and delightful service.

Stopped by for a late lunch/early dinner today. It was the second time we have eaten here and it was wonderful just like the first.Since the sun was out, we decided to eat out on the patio. Definitely recommend stopping by if you are looking for some good bread and lasagna!

Stopes in here for dinner. We ordered the calamari and garlic cheese bread. Shortly after we order they brought those items out and wow. What a huge order of calamari. It was hit and tasted pretty good. They brought out cheese sticks I guess on accident and told her we ordered garlic bread. So that came out shortly after and it was ok. We ordered our food. Chicken Alfredo and chicken piccata for my wife. While we were waiting and enjoying our appetizers. The waitress brought out a basket of rolls too. They were soft and warm. We probably could have skipped the garlic bread had we known. I ordered an old fashion while we were waiting for our food. It never came. Once I got the waitress to come back and check in us I asked if they were still fixing the old fashion. She had forgotten. So I watched her make it at the bar. Basically I got a lot of simple syrup and maybe a shot of bourbon. Super sweet. Our food came out how and it looked good. My wife was picking at hers and she told me it was super salty and we noticed too that it has a ton of capers on it. The Alfredo was ok. Little salty and very very creamy cheesy. Waitress might have been having a bad night because it was difficult to get refills or ask her for anything.Someone else ended up finally coming to the table to take my payment.
I think it's the best place to get pasta in Oxford.

I ordered the shrimp scampi online. I got a text message on my way there that it was ready, about 10 minutes after I placed the order. The host at the door was friendly and brought my order out swiftly. The food stayed warm for quite a while. I didn’t eat it until about 30 minutes after I had picked it up and it was still very warm. The scampi was excellent. So many amazing flavors that pair so well together. The bread that came with the pasta was warm and soft. Everything was wonderful. I wish I had ordered dessert.
