Let me start by saying, I used to love Volta. I had eaten here many times before without any issue, but I will personally never return for any reason. Why?Warning: Gross content belowA few months back I got the worst food poisoning of my life from eating severely undercooked pork that made it into my Pork Soulvlaki salad. I noticed the meat was "chewy" and after eating only two bites, I took some and cut it up on my plate and it was basically raw. (picture attached)I showed the wait staff who apologized and said the kitchen gets into a hurry sometimes when they get backed up during busy times. They offered to make it again, but at that point they had already lost my trust and I had lost my appetite. They actually seemed apathetic towards the situation. They didn't even offer to take it off my check even though I only ate those two bites.Fast forward a few days later, I started to get violently ill, I ended up in the hospital and was admitted for 3 days. I was the sickest I have ever been in my life. It took weeks for my digestive system to fully recover.For those who are reading this, if you choose to go to Volta, my advice would be to cut each piece of meat before you eat it to make sure it is fully cooked so something like this doesn't happen to you.

What used to be dinner and lunch the next day, is now definitely one overpriced meals. Alcoholic drinks are overpriced, and taste like cheap liquor. The owner has a lousy reputation and that's why they can't keep servers long, and you can easily find quite a few former employees who hate the place. Used to be so lovely, but gone downhill.

The fact that this is called Greek food blows my mind! Okay...the food is on a pita, but I had to pick out three pieces of chicken because of how salty they had tasted! Greek food is usually fresh, and sometimes on the more unfavorable side, so I would not recommend this place if you are wanting authentic Greek food.

This place is unassuming from the street, but the food and experience will knock your socks off. The salad with Gyro meat is fantastic. The crunchy edges on the meat are the best! I loved it with the vinaigrette and feta dressings. The grilled pita was so simple but full of flavor. We chose it with feta and I would get it that way again. The picnic tables on the deck outside were the perfect location to enjoy the amazing weather of the day, but they even open the garage doors for the inside, so you couldn't go wrong with any seat there. And if you love to take home plastic cups, their cups are giant and a bright yellow. The kind you want to use over and over again. This will be a top choice whenever I am in Oxford.Parking: Parking available on both sides of the building.

Volta was the best part of our trip to Oxford. Maddy and Bess were amazing, so nice and friendly, and had great recommendations. Service was quick, the vibes are honestly immaculate, and the happy hour was top tier.Will return if I ever end up back in Oxford.

One of our favorites in Oxford! This place has a cool vibe with extremely good food. Our customer service whether indoors or outside was great each time that we went!
We've been there twice and both times the food and service were excellent! I like gyros but I went outside the box and got the Greek sliders - they were wonderful! Served on brioche buns and the gyro meat patty was juicy and crispy.
