I thought the food was good but I do feel I may have been over charged. It was myself and my husband and son and was charged over $80 for lunch.

Southern style poboys, Barqs rootbeer in a bottle, and corn nuggets. It's a staple of Pass, don't sleep on this place. Just make sure to check hours before you

I have heard about this place ever since I moved down. Finally made it over Saturday. Every word I heard was true. Great, great po boys!!! Best onion rings I've had in a long time. I've been hunting a catfish po boy ...Found It!!! Plus the Roast Beef Po boy was excellent too! Don't forget the ice cold Barqs in the old glass bottles, a must. Great atmosphere, clean, quite, family friendly w a game room for the kids. I bet this is the place for the weekend game. It was quite and busy w takeout when I visited. Will make Priates Cove a must on my restaurant rotation!

Someone must have taken this place over. I have eaten here for years but after today I will not be back! The two boys at the counter was rude. I asked for tartar sauce because I got the fish plate. He threw me two packets, I asked for lemon for my tea and that to got thrown on the counter IN A PACKET. The fish wasn’t fried all the way and was raw in the middle. Definitely not worth $18. My husband got the brisket poboy and there was more onions than meat and the meat was hardly there. It was thrown together. Sad day when a grocery store poboy and fish is way better. Someone needs to step up or this business won’t last at this rate

I’m from northern Virginia and whenever I come down to the coast to visit family, I make it a mission to come here and enjoy a delicious po-boy every time. Sadly I haven’t been back in quite a few years but I’m glad it’s just as savory! Roast beef, fully dressed, will always have my heart ?

My first Po Boy and I was impressed by the size and quantity of shrimp on the sandwich. The shrimp was lightly battered and did not taste greasy. Portion was large and to save half for much later.

Must have come on an off night. Roast beef and gravy was not it's usual awesomeness. Won't hold it against them. Everyone had an off day

Needed a quick bite, and Pirates delivered! Ordered a Whole poboy and split it. They can dress both sides separately! Fantastic!

We had the shrimp poboy, onion rings, roast beef poboy and messy fries. Shrimp poboy was smaller than I remember from previous visits but still tasted good and so did the onion rings. Well, the roast beef poboy was good, but whatever dark gravy they are using now on the RB poboy and messy fries doesn't taste good, IMO. It doesn't taste like the homemade gravy from previous visits.
