Doesn't look fancy, but the catfish was tender, nicely fried, in decent sized pieces. The counter service is helpful and nice. The decor is very simple, plain, casual/ rustic. The small salad was good, fries too. Good value for 3 piece set. Pan-fried trout might be larger, but it has bones. Slices of bread are included in case you want to eat sandwich style. Not quite 5 stars, but popular with locals.
The Best Fried Fish I’ve ever had in my life. Fresh and delicious. I flew into Jackson from Los Angeles and when I tell you this was my first stop. Tip, wrap the bread around the fish and dip. Service with a smile. The ladies are so sweet and the fish is better than the best! Always hot and always fresh for the past 20 yrs! Love it.Parking: Small lot but this is a pick up and go spot. Limited dining seating.
