We went on Saturday evening. It was not packed at all. But the service was not good nor the food. We wanted to sit at a certain table & have the curtain open but the waiter who was sitting us said the couple across the room didn’t want the sunlight on them. Wow. Anyways we just moved to another bench. Then I told him we were ready to order & he said we would have to wait because he was just helping the waitress out & he didn’t want to step on her toes. I mean in my mind I’m like does it matter??? The order gotta get taken regardless. So we had to wait to place our order. Chips & salsa were not the freshest. But we were hungry & had to wait even longer to place our order. My cup was not clean. I had specks of food or dirt in my water. So when it came time to place our order, we wanted to get the dozen order of tamales but the waitress said they don’t do that anymore & I asked why is it still on the menu then? & she said they just haven’t taken it off yet but I saw other stuff on the menu that was crossed off. So that didn’t make any sense. We get the food & my tamale was cool/warm. I told the waiter & he said “well it should be hot because it’s been under a steamer” I sent it back & they brought out a warmer one. That one was a lot better. I asked the waitress for some more salsa & she never brought anymore. I had to stop another waitress & ask for some more salsa. She brought out some more with more chips & they seemed to be fresher than the first batch. & they also charge a service charge just to use your debit card. Despite the reviews, I wanted to give them a chance. My kids were content. But they need to do a whole better.

I rate the tacos I had a 3 only because it did not taste bad. Two of my tacos had more lumps of fat than pork meat. I put the Verde salsa on one of my tacos and almost forgot I had put any. Not much flavor in the carnitas. I tried the red salsa on my taco that is usually served with the chips and a can of tomato sauce came to mind-- not salsa. Now, I can say I liked the rice. It was not dried out. The host was kind and sweet. The atmosphere was nice. I was excited after coming in and being greeted but became disappointed with the food.

Food tasted absolutely horrible plus we found a hair on the plate. Waitresses were worried about flirting with old men instead of focusing on other customers. They never even noticed or questioned why we didn't want to eat our food. We used to go here 2+ years ago and the food was either good or decent. The chile relleno with shredded beef was always my favorite. Nothings good anymore. Definitely won't be returning.

Absolutely disgusting! Don’t believe any of the good reviews. They must be from the employees or from customers who like to go hang out and drink and don’t really care if the food is bad. The food is horrible! Found a curly black hair in the rice which was already nauseating without the hair! The only decent food was the chips.Salsa - NORice - NASTYBeans - NOChicken - NO - has no flavor ?Chips - OKAnd wear a jacket! It’s ridiculously cold in there! They obviously don’t care about customers being comfortable when they know it’s too cold and just tell you to wear a jacket when it’s 78 degrees outside!

The tamales were awful, chilli sauce just tasted like salt. They are shredding beef, not ground . Fajitas were edible but not very good. Salsa was terrible as well.
