Our favorite Chinese! The food is made fresh by order! And they always let me make things spicy, so the orders are customizable. My families favorite we get almost everytime is General Tso’s chicken (ask for extra spicy), fried dumplings, and the sweet and sour chicken!

This review is for the Best Wok in Purvis MS. Small, privately owned family restaurant with most of its business being carry out. The outside of the business is not impressive, in fact looks run down. Although it fits with many of the other buildings in Purvis. As we entered, it looks similar to the outside. Atmosphere is zip, nodal, non-existent. There's a menu on one wall, a cold drink case on another, and an old worn counter stand that 5he waitress takes your order. The are 4 or 5 tables with cheap chairs scattered loosely in the room to sit at. Cleanliness might be questionable. Most people don't sit to eat, but sit to wait on their order to be prepared so they can take it home. There were 4 of us and wanted to sit for dinner - not a problem getting a table. The server (Amy?) did well at explaining the menus, taking our order, and communicating the status of our food. Very nice person. Added to the visit. They don't put on any pretense of being what they're not. They are a small-town Chinese take-out. The food was quite good. Good-sized portions, reasonably quick service, and flavorful. My lo main noodles were cooked perfectly. Same for my shrimp - perfect! The crab Rangoon was hot and very good. Can't say anything about the food. The price was not cheap, but reasonable - especially with prices increasing everywhere. Try it. We'll be back.
