We were lucky enough to stumble on Mississippi's Finest on our way through Port Gibson. The food was amazing and the people were even better. Mrs P came and sat with us to take our order, and she whipped up a custom salad and served us greens, cornbread, fried chicken and field peas to boot. Tony, our waitress, (hope I have that name and spelling correctly) was so kind and fun to chat with. It felt like eating with family. Only 5 stars for the nice owner!Delicious homemade lemonade.And a clean toilet.We didn't eat there, but she makes it herself, so it must be good!What a hospitality.(Original)Alleen al 5 sterren voor de aardige eigenaresse!Heerlijke eigengemaakte lemonade gehad.En een schone wc.We hebben er niet gegeten, maar ze maakt het zelf, dus het is vast goed!Wat een gastvrijheid.

We stopped here for a late lunch and had a very good, home-cooked meal! Favorites were the fried chicken, corn, yams, pecan pie, and pretty much everything! It was a comfortable place to stop during our travels and the owner, server, cook, and other patrons were very welcoming and friendly! Definitely a gem in the area!
