My new favorite lunch spot - some of the best veggies and blue plate proteins with plenty of sitting room and also the convenience of a drive thru. They rotate through very popular proteins & southern style veggies based on day of the week. Their fried okra is just like my memaws was - love it. I've just discovered this place recently, and have already been back multiple times. The MS pot roast has been my fav so far, but I'm looking forward to trying it all. The locals love this place and it gets crowded at lunch, which is why I especially enjoy the drive thru option. My son likes their chocolate cake more than any other...I don't bake so I'm not upset with that. Lol

I ordered Fried Chicken and 2 sides totaling $11.50 for lunch plate. The food used to be ok but now it’s at a point they don’t care. My chicken was undone and literally you could see it, I called, advised I work in area and would bring it back only to be advised “You could choose something else”. I returned and said I’ll go with fried pork chops and handed the lady my plate back. They swap it out, I get back to eat and faced with my sides wasn’t changed (which was warm for it be 11 lunchtime), no seasoning, gravy was warm and covered to not notice rawness & that’s against food safety. Anytime something is returned through a window that could be contaminated and requires to be served again not to mention THE PORK CHOPS wasn’t done. Raw cooked food could cause salmonella poisoning. It’s unacceptable and I wasted money. This is all to say, every dollar should be valued and every plate should be served to satisfactory of food safety standards

Food is well seasoned and delicious. Blue plate style cafeteria line with daily specials. Great staff.Parking: Parking lot gets a lot of movement during peak hours so theres often a bit of duck and dodge but there's usually spaces available.

Best staff we have seen in a long time. They always take care of us. We have tried just about everything on the menu and have yet to find anything we don't like. Always give me a military discount. We eat here several times a week.Parking: During rush time parking can get tight.

I have to be honest and say this is less of a resturant, and more of a lunch line like they have in school cafeterias. Most of the food was good except for the peach cobbler. It tasted awful.

The staff is as friendly as you could ask for, and the short, dark complected girl behind the register is very pretty. Ha ha ha. Next time i think im going to ask for her number if she dont see this and reach out to me beforehand. (Im joking but im not) Seriously though,The fish or the tartar sauce was really salty but other than that 9 out of 10. I recommend lunch there if you havent already been.Vegetarian options: Lots of home cooked veggies. From what i can tell some of them have meat of some sort added as flavoringKid-friendliness: Bring the whole crew. Mostly adults that can manage a 45min to and hour lunchParking: Its always packed to the max when i goWheelchair accessibility: Yes. Wide entrance to the serving line.Dietary restrictions: Better not have any

This place is the epitome of Southern comfort food.Establishment is clean, the people are extremely nice and polite. And the food is just like your mama made it if she ever did.

Holy heck, some of the best BBQ chicken I've ever had. Very flavorful and tender. The meat was practically jumping off the bone ???

Sometimes the food is good other times not too good. It's close to work, not to many places to eat in the area. Some co-workers won't go back, I tell them it's not that bad.
