Great bar area and atmosphere with speedy service. The food is also good. Sometimes they can get behind and not have enough kitchen staff to hurry things along. Make sure to plan ahead for this place.

They serve good casual food in upscale atmospheres with a very small selection of actual French food. Overall happy to go there occasionally but the only downside is that a few of the waiters have thick southern accent and they slur all the words together quickly that I have no idea what they are saying. I have to rely on their main words/gestures to guess what they are saying and it is stressful not being able to understand them not enunciating because I don’t want to ask them to repeat and still not understand what they said.

Classy location. The restaurant has a 'Chique' vibe. Ordered the Anjou Salad and Filet. After a long day prospecting clients for 6 hours across 9 counties in Mississippi, I needed to reward myself for signing a deal and booking a new lead in the same visit.Close to several Marriott chains, I also needed to scout for a location where I can present at my nearby hotel conferencing accommodations but furthermore, host a dinner for my clients following an upcoming C-Suite board presentation.Bottom line - Glad that I accidentally found this place, decided to place a carryout order for safe measure.Excellent Menuincorporating your familiar gourmand surf/turf (ribeye or filet steak, red fish or salmon, pork chops) with delightful sides to complement the entrees.and then, weaving in Traditional French cuisine: Duck, Beignets, Paulette, Escargots De Bourgogne, etcDid not try the desserts, but again, present in the Anjou selection are your Créme Bruleé, Crepes and Tart Tatins to cap the night with a Recanche Cognac, Rosé or an espresso for a quick pick-me-up...even brunch mamosas...Atmospherewhite table cloth, formal or semi-formal, relaxing ambiance, white marble bar, somewhere you'd take family out of town or a change of pace with a significant otherDrink offering*Shoutout to the Bartender, quite the gentlemen -- Walked through the wine list, conversational. Both glass and "by the bottle" Boujelais. Truly made my night receiving attentive service and recommendations. And your familiar cocktails and beer selection as well.Bringing my next client happy hour/dinner here during my stay in Jackson/Ridgeland.I've been to Chenenceaux, France, partake in tastings in the Rhóne Valley and a few tours of restaurants and wineries in Napa, CA -- I liked my experience here.Thank you all.Parking: About 8-10 parking spots right up front..If front is full - Plenty of parking at the Marriott parking lot within 250 ft of the restaurantWheelchair accessibility: 3-4 Wheelchair accessible and 1 van accessible parking spot

Several of us gather there for lunch once a month, at least, as there are so many other good restaurants in Ridgeland to hit, and we do not dine out daily. The service is usually cordial knowledgeable and prompt.

Enjoyed a great diner with friends here. Anjou is on our list of go to places in Madison. The service was great without being intrusive. The food was up to our expectations. Their French Onion soup is one of the best in town. 2 of our group had their redfish topped with shrimp and crab. This is arguably one of their bestselling dishes for a good reason! Their grilled, bone in pork chop is also a winner!

Great find on a snowy night. The early bird menu is excellent. Highly recommend the tilapia. Drinks and wine list good too.

I tried this restaurant for the first time last month with a group from work. We were very impressed! There were wonderful comments from everyone there on the menu and quality of the food. The appetizers were amazing as well as the dinner!

Good food and a nice atmosphere. Service is good. It has a very nice veranda overlooking a small lake. The food and atmosphere are French inspired.

It was ok. My food was cooked properly but lightly seasoned. The appetizers and wine was the best thing we had.

No matter what I have ordered, the food has been delightful! The servers are attired in white button-down shirts and dark trousers. They greet each patron with a warm smile. I'm sure it's required, but they are well versed on the menu of offerings and quickly share suggestions that pair well with specific items. The atmosphere is soft, luring and sophisticated --everything you'd expect from a higher-end restaurant with white tablecloths.Take your special person, group/party or professional team to Anjou. You'll love it!♥️Vegetarian options: Anjou offers a vegetarian plate: portobello mushrooms, French-style beans, garlic mashed potatoes, and squash.I sometimes add grilled chicken, as the portions are somewhat small.
