The owner was very accommodating to our reservation request for our party of 8. Service was fantastic Food was excellent Our appetizers were excellent; Kibbeh, Eggplant and Crawfish/Shrimp Dip were all great I would say the Eggplant was my favorite House Salad was also great I ordered a Cowboy Ribeye, it was really good also One note, one order of French Fries is enough for 2-3 people So order other sides if there's multiple people and share the fries All in all a solid meal

The food was delicious, the presentation of the food was perfection. I got the blackfish w/ lump crab and my husband got the prime cowboy steak both were delicious. The service was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. We enjoyed the experience, not to mention that the ambiance was relaxing and beautiful. I will be back and I recommend you try it for yourselves, you won't be disappointed.

we sat at the bar for cocktails and decided on having a small bite. i had the eggplant and he had bisque. both dishes were excellent as was the drinks and service. i enjoyed the small relatively quiet bar atmosphere and can easily see how this place is a local favorite!

Ribeye good, cooked as ordered. Tenderloin tips good also. Mushrooms very little taste. Green salad was 99.9% greens, no tomatoes, no croutons, 1 slim small piece of onion. Dressing is good. Good bread rolls. Drinks good. Good place. Would recommend.

First time visit. Birthday celebration. They made it exceptional from frontline service to attention to detail food quality. They concluded the evening with a pleasant surprise birthday acknowledgment on the plate of dessert. Thank you and we will return.

We came here on a trip to Mississippi as our friends visit there frequently. They ran out of a lot of things we ordered. One of the sides came out 10-15 minutes after we got our steaks, which was disappointing. We did love our waitress, but I probably wouldn't go back. I think our friends wouldn't go back at this point either. Just a little disappointing all around.

The "Prime Ribeye" for $69 was well prepared, but didn't have any fat or marbling. It was tough. The manager offered to replace it, but I don't like to waste food and declined. The chef is responsible for quality control and should understand the difference between Prime and lower grades of beef. Big disappointment in that respect. The spinach salad, wine selection, aspargus, and dessert were delicious. My friend ordered the filet Lousianne and loved it. The filet was also beautifully prepared. I think that I would try the seafood on my next visit. This restaurant was recommended by guests from our hotel, who also appreciate good steaks. I think that if I ever tried the ribeye here again, I would have to see it first, after this experience. I will return, but I hope that the management and chef will work harder towards better quality control. A ribeye is all about the fat, and when there isn't any, the price should reflect the lower quality. I was surprised that the manager didn't offer a slight discount for the lower quality. I consumed about half of the portion. Our waitress was lovely, I'm sorry that I don't remember her name. Thanks for the opportunity to share my opinion.

The place is great. The best thing was the beautiful lady that works the front door. She made my night and was super polite. Definitely will come back just to see her. Food was ofcourse absolutely amazing and so tasty.

My final meal at Ely's was memorable, in an unfortunate way. Following a delicious meal, with excellent service by the waitress, a colleague and I were finishing our glasses of wine, when a staff member interrupted and asked us to leave or go to the bar. Other guests had been there longer. The only thing that set us apart was that we were the only Black patrons in the dining area. Neither of us had experienced this before, and we were both surprised and offended. When asked why he chose to confront us instead of others who had been there as long, the staff person commented how nicely he treated an elderly Black woman who had been there previously, after she explained why she took so long. Unfortunately, his response says it all. We'll gladly take your money, but for people like you, take out is preferred.

Our reservations were made a week in advance. Our table was not ready until 30 minutes after the time for reservation. No one seemed to be concerned at our having to wait. Appetizers came out separate from one other by 15 minutes. Our server was great and the food was good. I just expected a better experience.
