J's Bar is a restaurant located in a historic building in Natchez Under the Hill. It offers a great view of the river bend and provides excellent service. The lunch menu includes generous portions of appetizers such as Fried Green Tomatoes with crawfish Remoulade and stuffed mushrooms with crabmeat. The entree options have something for everyone, with grilled fish being a popular choice. The shrimp & lobster bisque is particularly fantastic. Although they don't take reservations, the waiting time is typically around 25 minutes. Be prepared for a 4% charge for credit card usage. The food is plentiful and of good quality.
