3/26/2024- My 1st time in here and I met Kelly. She was pleasant to me. I didn't detect any rudeness or arrogance from her. I bought 2 blueberry white chocolate cookies. 2 strawberry cookies, 1 chocolate chip and 1 M&Ms cookie. Two red velvet bars. Ate a strawberry cookie. It was good but very sweet white white chocolate it very sweet. Owing a business is not easy especially nowadays where everyone wants to complain. Also no one is perfect...just do your own research and if you go there, go there will a kind heart. This is just my opinion!!*update cookies and red velvet bar were ?2nd update 3/28/2024- went back in today, couldn't help it. Cookies are that good. Didn't have much of a choice, so she's doing something right and was once again pleasant to speak with.

I ordered a cream cheese king cake to be picked up Friday at 1:00 for my Mothers Mardi Gras themed birthday party the next day. I had a lot to do so I needed to get the cake at 1:00 (our agreed upon time). I got there at 1:05. The woman told me the cream cheese king cakes wouldn't be ready for another hour. She said I could come back, choose the other flavor they had ready, or get a refund. She never called or texted me stating my order, which I already paid for, would not be ready. I didn't have time to wait and I had to have it the next day. I had no other choice than to get the other flavor option that wasn't my Motber's favorite flavor. This was my first time ordering from them and I will not order from them again. They may not think my Mother's Birthday was important but I did, and there are several other fantastic bakeries to choose from.

I love this bakery. We pop in a few times a year for birthdays or other celebrations. We always get the cupcakes. They're always moist and delicious. Also, I love that they are not over-the-top ridiculous. Bakery cupcakes are often gigantic, extreme in their frosting and fillings and decorations plus add-ons like candy or candy bars...and usually dry and bland tasting. Not here! Cupcakes are reasonably sized, moist and flavorful, simple but with variety...and reasonably priced! We always get the cupcakes but this time I wanted to also try their cookies. Dang! Very good. Four cupcakes, four cookies, $20, everything was fantastic.

***ZERO STARS***! DO NOT RECOMMEND! GO ANYWHERE ELSE. RUINED A WEDDING!!!! I don't even know how Kelly remains the manager of this store. Kelly made us the driest carrot cake and the most hideous wedding cake I have ever seen. It looked like a 3rd grade decorating job. Kelly was late delivering the cakes and has thus far been nonresposive. Will post pictures.

1000% DO NOT RECOMMEND. No respect for customers or the art of baking. Kelly is none responsive after the work has been disappointingly done. Put a real stain on the wedding day. Highly disappointed.The groom's cake might as well have come from Wal-Mart...no shade to Wal-Mart they make great cakes.

Courtney was very friendly and informative about all of the goodies. Pies and cookies, treats. Even earrings, decorations for your home too.Dietary restrictions: They do have some gluten free items.
Horrible customer service. I requested a quote for a cake and 48 cupcakes for my mother's 60th birthday. I was quoted $235.99. I had my mom finalize the order with my credit card, and was charged $482.89 for the order. When I called in the so called manager had a nasty attitude and told me if I had questions call my mother and ask her, or downsize my order. When I inquired about her rudenesse she told me she didn't have time. I disconnected the call and advised my mom that I was about to cancel the order. After a few moments to calm down I called back to cancel and was told I wouldn't be allowed to order again. I said great because I had no intentions. The clown then threatened to not give me a refund until I learned how to speak to her. The nerve! Before I knew it I cussed her out and demanded she stop playing with me and refund me or I would dispute it and be refunded regardless. She's a real B****. Never would I do business with these hillbillies. B**** is giving white trash entitled Karen vibes! Thankfully I found a true professional to take our order. One who possesses great customer service and a wonderful attitude.

I hate leaving negative reviews. Having that said it broke me down to tears when I went to go pick up my cake. # 1, it wasn't ready on time. #2 the cake was ugly, as heck. Looked nothing like the picture. As a professional if you cannot accomplish something let your customer know and not half a** something that's rushed and sloppy. For 400 dollars I expected AT LEAST decency! #3 I broke down to tears and all she could say was "well you can either take it or leave it." Like gave no other solution to a problem she made. #4 She tried invalidate my feelings by saying "oh people are gunna love it." Girl no everyone said it looked like crap before my sister and I fixed it. Completely gaslighting me during the whole situation. I'm 8 months pregnant and my cake look like a 5 year old made it. #5 , I wasn't given any other options like I said before not even a partial discount nor credit nor "I apologize for messing up your cake because I couldn't do it." If YOU KNOW YOU MESSED UP DO SOMETHING! This wasn't the first time I bought a custom cake from her so I thought I was in good hands because hey you want clientele to come back right? WRONG! Lacks customer service skills, empathy and can't even admit when she messed up. Please don't order from her, doesn't care nor cared to fix the situation. If you want your desserts to NOT be one of your worries turn away now. The first three are what she gave me. Then the reference photo and the last one is how we manage to fix it before my baby shower. Also found some hairs and little fuzzy microfiber hairs. The last picture is how ME AND MY SISTER FIXED IT!

We called to order a chocolate or choc fudge cake with Fondant & the sweet young lady Sarah suggested the Chocolate cake with brownie bits so we ordered that & very excited about it We then we had more quests coming in from out of town ! Willing to pay the upcharge total $103.00 Unfortunately we still have half left because no brownie bits to be found or tasted and lots thrown away . The owner Kelly suggested that we should have come in to taste ! She said we should have paid double & that was impossible to not see or taste brownie bits so Maybe the poor reviews have merit. The Triple Fudge cake at Old Towne bakery would have been a better choice ! Oh the Owner stated that she was very busy did not want to believe me & furthermore wouldn’t buy a cake there as they re not baked there

My family has been a long time Cake Lady Bakery customer, but this cake…it was everything!
Kelly listened to the words that described the cake I was looking for, and she gave us more than we could have imagined.
Some people may look at this cake and think, “oh, it’s just a birthday cake with a picture of a barn…it has a horse, a cow, and a duck.”
Kelly listened to my voice crack as I told her about how my daddy was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. She felt the emotions that, I know, my words could not accurately describe. See, this isn’t just a barn…this is THE barn that helped bring my daddy back to life. THIS barn is part of the life he’s worked so hard to build, and THIS barn was built by my parents. They didn’t have the physical strength to do this on their own; they had a dream and each other, and they had faith. A lot of it.
When they started this project, my dad barely had the strength to break the ground with a post hole digger. But look at THIS barn!
Kelly and her team built this cake for us to celebrate not just my dad’s birthday but his life. Thank you!
And, by the way, the cake was DELICIOUS!!!
