I dont usually leave reviews but this is a warning. We got crab legs and steak. I just finished 16 hours of puking almost nonstop. Ive never had food poisoning that intense in my life. Well, unfortunately husband decided to eat the leftover steak thinking it was just the crab. I wouldve stopped him but i was unable to leave bathroom most of the day. I assume the crab cross contaminated and now he has food poisoning. Soooo just be careful. Catfish was good. Fries were good. And dont get me wrong, the crab and steak TASTED delicious but it was not worth the entire day of the most horrendous food poisoning i've ever had in my life.Oh and the service was EXCELLENT. We even tipped on top of gratuity...the food just be cautious with.

Our first time there. Our server, Miranda, was great and attentive. We started off with the Cajun fried corn on the cob appetizer. I suggest that upon serving that appetizer to your patrons to caution them that it is extremely hot (not spicy) but HOT! Will prevent burned lips when corn is bitten into and liquid squirts out. The fried fish, shrimp, and French fries were awesome! Slaw and roll nothing to write home about. Gal bartending was not very professional as I actually saw her vape once and eat a meal at her counter. She was also using language that I thought was inappropriate even in the friendly way she was speaking to her customer. I was surprised to read some of the recent negative reviews. We had a good experience and will return.
The food was good. The service was great. The atmosphere can use a more upbeat vibe. But overall, it was a nice experience.

I was so excited to get a chance to eat some seafood. However, I was so disappointed. The lobster tail that I received was overcooked. The crab legs, corn, potato, sausage, and lobster tail were all compiled in an open bowl where all the buttery sauce had congealed at the bottom of the plate. It was not served like in typical seafood places in a plastic bag to conceal the heat and keep the buttery sauce softened. I was disappointed in the flavor as well. Ultimately, I received my ticket, and additional fees were added for using credit card payments. I did not see this written anywhere on the menu, nor was it mentioned to me by the server. On the table and menu, it was written that the gratuity would be 15% on the ticket. I made the wrong choice to visit this place on Saturday evening, but this is $105 later. I will not be returning. If you charge top-notch prices, the service and food must match what you are charging.

J3 is hands down the best for seafood bags. Their seasoning is A1 compared to other restaurants. Other places bags' are oily and have bland seasoning. The bad, they have a 15% gratuity fee for everyone, but actually it's 16.5 percent. That in itself is false advertising. They should correct this.

2nd time ever going and was given lava again when we ordered mild Cajun seafood. Not sure who was in the kitchen today, but shame on you! No one could enjoy eating $200 worth of food, most of it was wasted. The staff downplayed the situation by stating that they eat the BYB when we tried to elevate our concerns. There must have been a mix up in the kitchen bc our kids say they’ve eaten there other times and got an entirely different sauce. Seems like consistency is an issue.
My cousin and I both had the 1lb crab bags. I added shrimp to mine, the sauce was delicious. The waitress informed us that the 1lb crab boil bags are discounted on Mondays, $16.99.

We came by one night wanting to celebrate. Unfortunately, when we arrived the fire alarm was going off nonstop. We were greeted promptly and welcomingly. We were informed there had been an issue and unfortunately the alarms wouldn't be stopping and they couldn't do anything about it. The lady was so kind, professional, and personable. She offered the option to order as take out but we opted to dine in. We ordered a couple of drinks and perused the menu. The food smelled absolutely delightful. However, after a while we realized we couldn't stand the sound and the menu prices were unreasonable in our opinions so we opted to leave. I wish I could recall the lady's name who assisted us as she was truly the highlight of this establishment. She clearly has the patience of a Saint to deal with that siren all night but to still be so friendly, warm, and attentive. Honestly, if it weren't for the exorbitant prices, we'd definitely be regulars. Also, in case anyone is wondering this establishment doesn't serve alcohol.
