Food was good, cashier needs customer interaction, customer service training. Not an 'enjoy your meal', thank you, or even a smile. Just right back to her phone. Prices were good, music was awesome. Just a little training I think is needed. We don't know what we don't know until we learn.

I love Newk’s—great choice of items and always fresh and tasty. Recently I was impressed by their customer service—I had my favorite shrimp and avocado salad not made to their usual standards (my timing was bad—a to go order after a large group showed up on a later Sunday night). Talked to manager next day and without hesitation she had my salad remade for me. THAT kind of customer service always “tilts the scales” for me in their favor—great food and great customer service. Thanks Newk’s Southaven!

Toxic Work Environment A multitude of he/she say False accusations Want you to go beyond and breaks are kinda frowned upon Horrific training pace yourself for several people to tell you how to do different tasks Scary employees afraid to speak up There is irrefutably favoritism hopefully the gm will like you People are getting paid different/higher/lower per hour even with the same position Biweekly checks & your feet will be killing you after work The kitchen area is unsafe just full of water(required to wear non slip shoes) Get ready to buss tables/clean restrooms/prep food/ deliver food to customers Employees whom work hard rarely get any type of recognition while others do the bare minimum.. It's all about how long you have been there you'll get away with many many things Dishes are unsanitary, customer complained once spoon wasn't clean Customer complained/showed me hair in honey mustard Flexible schedule gets one star would leave zero Friendly customers

I had to repeat my order at least three times. The salad tasted like water. The cookie that looked so delicious in the picture was nearly frozen in a plastic bag. And the bench we first sat on was partly broken. This restaurant has really gone down hill.

This place is great for fresh food. Service can be slow, but in the end, your food is hot and correct. I would compare this to a jasons deli with a southern twist. I've had the watermelon feta salad, which was refreshing. I also tried a cauliflower pizza (margarita) and was very pleased that the crust was actually crispy and not soggy. Tried my kids' ham and cheese, and if I could eat bread, I would have inhaled that, lolKid-friendliness: Great kid options, personal pizzas, mac and cheese, ham and cheese, or turkey and cheese. Side options of chips or fruit.
