Do not waste your money! The food is not good. We were in town for vacation. Wanted to eat where the local people eat. This is supposed to be a Soul Food restaurant. Nothing about this food was soulful! It all tasted like it came out of a can or a box! We only ate some of our food, and that's because we paid for it. We should have asked for our money back. I'll say it again, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Go anywhere else. Whataburger, Wing Stop, Chipotle anywhere but here!

I was told this place was a buffet. As soon as I walked into the building and saw the very little variety of options there were, I almost turned around and walked out. I then walked up to the buffet counter. It was not all-you-can-eat. They put your food in TO-GO BOXES. You get a meat and 2 vegetables. I got spaghetti, mac-and-cheese, and corn. There was a desert stand, but it was not free, which leads me to my next point, the over meal was $15. The TO-GO plates were NOT that big. It was like a TV dinner and tasted like one too. The spaghetti tasted like school food, fresh out of the cafeteria. The mac-and-cheese should be called wet-mac, and the corn was just flat out disgusting. It was pepper-y. I almost threw up. It is NOT. worth $15. And on top of that, they don’t even have fountain drinks. There is a small variety of VENDING MACHINE DRINKS there. The restaurant is too beautiful on the inside for the food to be tasting the way it does. And last but not least, there are NO proper silverware there. No where to get good forks, knifes, et cetera, no napkins, no salt and pepper. I rate the overall service here a 1/10. The only thing good was the kindness of the ladies plating our food. Go get wingstop instead!Wheelchair accessibility: My grandma’s wheelchair got stuck on the curb on the way inside. PLEASE add a ramp.

I got the unseasoned Turkey wings with the unseasoned rice and brown gravy with the cinnamon and marshmallow sweet potatoes with the world's worst store bought Carmel cake oh and can't forget the vinegar and seafood seasoned greens and that horrible sweet potato pie ,I don't know who was cooking 3~11~24 keep them out off the kitchen the presentation was on point but fooled me!! Why is it called Sweet potato pie when the pie not good or sweet ? ?‍♀️ Get it together cause Nope!

The hamburger steak was really tender and good and the mashed potatoes were well made and the gravy helped them both out a lot. The macaroni and cheese was very cheesy and delicious and the sweet potato casserole yams were the best I ever tasted I love them and the Sweet Potato Pie was some of the best I ever had!!!Vegetarian options: A lot of vegetable options including Corn, Sweet Potatoes, Greens without meat, Peas, Beans, Macaroni and Cheese and Cabbage GreensParking: Good amount of parking spots up close near the buildingKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly love the environment

Customer service was great but the food lacked a lot. Mac and cheese was sour & watery, dressing was also very wet as if the food was rushed. Nice place and ppl but I’ll pass :)

This was my first visit. I’m usually skeptical on trying new restaurants. I looked on line before I went, I saw a 3.7 review. I said naw I’m stilll support and try for myself. The cashier was very nice and polite. I ordered a catfish plate. I love slaw with my fish, they were out of slaw on a Friday fish day. The max and cheese was creamy and okay. The greens had a taste that I can not even say what it taste like. The fish was okay it’s lacking season with the food. I ask for a roll, they only had corn bread? To go with fish? But it’s clearly on the website and pictures that they have rolls. I will not be back 20.00 down the drain, I should have followed that 3.7 review and stayed away. Still hungry!

We pulled up to this place to see what the hype was about . Well as we were trying to walk in the doors were locked . Their website says they are open until 8:00 pm, however the door said 9:00 pm. Please update you all website and the hours on your door . The lady could’ve at least explained why they were closed but the website and door says otherwise . This is our third time attempting to support this restaurant.

I did not enjoy my food as I thought I would, it needs more seasoning in the food. The greens was sweet , the rice was bland , the chicken breast was dry with a lot of juices, the steak Pattie’s was decent but not good enough, the spaghetti was the best on the plate but I wouldn’t give it a 7. The corn bread was mushy not cooked all the way. Cake was good but not moist enough, I’m not sure if I’ll go back or not the past review are not good and my experience didn’t make it any better. Plus I think the cakes are way over priced.
