First time try got the deli. Got a club sandwich Togo and although the online menu stated all sandwiches come with a pickle spear and a celery stick, there is no pickle and celery stick in my bag. Slightly disappointed but the sandwich was good. The price came out to be $12 just for the sandwich.

My family and I were in town for a tour of Mississippi States campus and decided to come here for lunch. It was fantastic! My mom had the pecan grape chicken salad on Croissant with a lemon square and I had the mexican quesadilla with a brownie! It was seriously the best food, and the service was incredible! We will definitely be back! PS: TRY THE BROWNIE!

Just by chance found .this Cafe and the smells were absolutely ? delicious.. got a coke and a chess square and told them I WOULD BE BACK.. I was done my errand and purchased the chicken salad ... apple bread... the chicken salad was perfect.. haven't had good chicken salad for years UNTILL TODAY....i.found my happy place.... the cashiers were cute as could be... just loved it.

I got the chicken salad on a croissant, it had a really great taste. Noticed I didn't get a pickle, although it says on there board that it comes with one, so I asked for a pickle, and was told, oh we don't normally give them out , but I will get you one. So I pointed out that it says it on the board and was told ,oh the owners put that up there. Ummm ok , I want my pickle, thank you!!

The chocolate chip cookie I just ate is an insult to chocolate chip cookies everywhere. Also, why would any establishment selling goods or services not display prices for said goods or services?
If you are looking to buy a cake from here, don't. Back in August, I was looking for a cake for my friend's 23rd birthday. The only cakes they had were the pre-bought ones that already had a base coat of icing on them. Totally fine! I told the girl behind the counter what I wanted. I wanted something simple but cute and even showed her a picture for inspiration (attached below). After I picked it up it was totally not anything like what I asked for-- it looked like something I could have done (which is not great). I ended up calling Cater's Market and asked to speak to the manager. I kindly explained that it was not what I had asked for and if there was anything she could do. She sounded annoyed over the phone and said no refunds. I remember being so upset after paying $65+ on the cake, that they didn't even make themselves.I later told my boyfriend about my interaction with them and how upset I was. He ended up taking the cake back to Cater's that day and as soon as he stepped foot into the door, the manager was already saying, "no refunds." My boyfriend was like, "Can I at least explain first?" He politely showed the manager the inspiration picture and explained that this is clearly not what I ordered. After attempting to talk over him several times while he was attempting to explain, she immediately responded with, "well we are not a bakery." She refused any type of refund or gift certificate to the establishment.She offered a cupcake and that was it. I usually don't write reviews but when I think back to that interaction after all this time, it still just doesn't sit right with me-- so here we are. Their cupcakes and cookies always look amazing so I figured since they sold cakes they would be up to the same standard but I was clearly mistaken. Incredibly disappointed in their management. It is very apparent that money comes first-- not the customer. If you are in the market to purchase a cake for a reasonable price and incredible quality, (and she actually makes the cakes) I recommend @CooksCustomCakes on Instagram! She works out of her apartment and is so kind!!

The food was AWESOME and the hospitality even BETTER! We are Texas Aggies visiting Starkville for the Mississippi State football game and we were welcomed like family by staff and patrons alike. The owner checked on us multiple times and even gifted us an Aggie bucket that was mistakenly shipped to her. The customers love the food so much they were weighing in on what we should order. A must stop when visiting Mississippi State!

My bestie suggested Cater's for our pre-Christmas friends lunch date, and it was good. I didn't get a pic of the taco salad (it got rave reviews), but the muffaletta and reuben that I got pics of were large portions...plenty for leftovers. The sandwiches were both a tad dry, so I would ask for extra sauce/extra kraut for the reuben (for you meat fanatics, it is stacked with corned beef) and maybe more oil for the muffaletta, but the flavor was good for both. The staff was intuitive and polite, and our food was prepared and served in a timely manner. Looking forward to trying more menu items in the future. Worth a try!
