I cannot say enough good things about Kirk's goodies. My husband and I lost over 100 lbs last year by doing keto. Having these treats has made it even easier to stay on track. Kirk is wonderful as well. I order cookies and or pound cake loaves every couple of weeks. I forgot to mention we live in Virginia and have our treats shipped. We drove up from Brandon just to try it out! Everything we had was delicious; the sausage, egg and cheese bagel, pot roast, and cakes. We brought more goodies home, and we will definitely be back. I love POA! I had given up on having delicious sugar free coffee options since Starbucks cut back to only having sugar free vanilla, and i had no idea that POA would have me covered! The coffee options are to die for and you would never know they are sugar free! 10/10If you were a chicken salad chick lover before they closed, I’ve got news for you! POA has several chicken salad options (my favorite is the Chef Chavez ?) and they come in several serving size containers in their “to go” refrigerator! Amazing options for that chicken salad fix!Lastly and certainly not least, i went in two weeks ago and got a banana pound cake/cheese cake shooter from their glass case and i honestly wanted to cry because it was so good! I have been strict dieting for a while and that little shooter made my week!! I couldn’t believe how good the texture and flavor was! PHENOMENAL! It was so good i went back a week later just to get another one! I couldn’t stop thinking about it!Do yourself a favor and give this place a try! Don’t let the gluten free, keto, sugar free label stop you from trying something new, because this place is amazing and when you try it you will be so shocked at how good, good for you can taste! Highly recommend!

I love coming to power of the almond. Being on a keto makes finding a place to get a quick lunch or something sweet really difficult, but they always have something I want there. I can get a sandwich, soup, or pizza for lunch and then grab a sweet treat for after. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I fully recommend this place to anyone, especially those looking for low-carb or gluten free.

My mom and I love this bakery! It is our go to bakery in Starkville. Everything we've tried (cinnamon rolls, brownies, quiche, biscuits) is phenomenal. Their coffee is also really good! The prices are fair and the selection is great- they are creating new desserts and baked goods regularly. Kirk (owner and baker) is very talented and friendly. A must go to in Stark!
