rooms are very outdated. key lock wouldn't work to get into my room. rather rude and unprofessional staff maybe it was the leadership. not clean. would never suggest staying here. pool is closed and out of order. if looking for a nice hotel in Starkville to stay I'd suggest the holiday inn express and suites. great location , nice friendly staff, very helpful, Newley renovated rooms. also the la Quinta across the street is also a lot nicer. don't waste your money thinking this is a nice hotel just because of the name. clearly it's ran poorly.

Great location, close to campus, all of the staff was friendly and helpful, great breakfast, loved the fresh lemonade in the afternoon, perfect after moving boxes in 100+ temperatures. Room was clean and well maintained. Will be back on next trip!

The service was great. The staff were awesome. Thank you for all that you did during my family stay at your hotel. The location were on point for where we needed to be. I will recommend this hotel again for future visits

The other reviews about the maintenance of the hotel are correct. Staff at front desk and restaurant are lovely. This hotel was beautiful when we first started staying there 10 years ago. Wear and tear are showing (it is a university town hotel) but a dead roach in the bathroom and rusted tub basin were not up to Hilton standards. Hopefully the management will take note of the reviews and improve.

The property continues to disappoint. I will not return. The property has been in need of renovation and not sure why thiks has not happened. The staff interaction is a hit or miss and their seems to be a major issue everytime I stay.

Clean and friendly. Breakfast was very good. We even left an item and they called us when they found it. Ive never had this happen. Kuddos for going the extra mile! Beds were comfortable. Pool and hot tub are currently closed but expect they will be back for spring. Nice indoor area.

Customer service needs work. Hotel is old and not the cleanest. I have stayed several times in the last few months and this is my last visit. The hotel and service is not what I expect from the Hilton brand.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice bar and breakfast options. Service was great. Good location for MSU game and visiting family in Starkville. Overall would recommend for a stay in Starkville anytime.

The hotel is consistently good, like most Hilton Garden inns- same layout and room types but maybe a little older- probably due for an update soon. The breakfast was good. The rooms are a bit loud so if you are a sensitive sleeper and wake easily, this might not be the place for you- you can hear everything in the adjacent room. Or at least where I was, I could. Everything else was great tho!

You walk in and there is this over powering smell of mildew. We stayed because they had an indoor pool. It was dirty and unclean, so we end up sitting in a hot tub that didn’t have hot water. The pool room was in shambles. Then our rooms had a bad smell. Key entry didn’t work. After the third time we finally got in. No room service. Food was terrible, bar was just as bad. Bartender sitting down on his phone . Phone in the room didn’t work. Computer connections were from the 1990’s. Couldn’t charge my phone because connections were so outdated. Just a horrible experience. It’s amazing Corp hasn’t come in to do an overhaul on this property .
