“I stopped by Gitano Grill restaurant and bakery a couple days ago and I am so glad I did! They made the most amazing roast beef sandwich!!!! And the chess squares are absolutely divine! Every bite was so mouthwateringly delicious! I had no idea this place is so amazing! And by the way, the prices are excellent. Many say, “It’s the best kept secret in Jones county.””

“I never was fond of Wards. But we were hungry and it was all there was. Boy were we in for a great surprise. The southern deluxe burger and fries was outstanding! If fed 2 of us. The bathrooms were clean too.”

“With only one person in front of us, ordering went fast. We chose to eat in the nice, clean and cool dining room. I used the facilities before eating, the women's was especially clean. The atmosphere was nice and peaceful. ate and enjoyed my husbands company. plenty of parking, but beware of the dip coming into the parking lot, off of 28.Enjoy, I will be back to visit again.”

“We had a great meal. The fish was great and I ate some of the most delicious shrimp in a very long time. It has a nice atmosphere and the prices are reasonable. I'd highly recommend going here and hope to go back soon!”

“Stopped in after going to an estate sale in town. The lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the shrimp and fish combo and an order of boudin balls. It took quite awhile for the food, but to us that means it’s freshly prepared, which it was. It was brought to our table and we were offered any sauces that we wanted. We asked for tartar and ramoulade to go with our meal and she brought it right away. The food was all delicious. Shrimp and catfish were battered and seasoned well. Fries and hush puppies were good. Loved the coleslaw. The boudin balls were good and you got a lot of them! Only thing that gave it a 4 was the quantity of shrimp and fish on the plate, only about 6 shrimp and 2 small pieces of fish. We thought that was a little light for the price, but even though we split it was enough food. We would definitely eat there again if we are ever back in the area.”

“Absolutely some of the best burgers we've had in a long time! They're fresh beef, not frozen patties. The fries were so crunchy and delicious. Our kids enjoyed their chicken strips and fries too!Everyone we encountered was super friendly and welcoming.We look forward to returning.”
