As I write this I am here for my second steak for my second night while visiting from Boise, ID. If you don’t go to Beechwood while you are in Vicksburg, MS you are missing out on the best meal you while have in this part of the South. Hands down. Veronica was my server in the lounge and she was amazing. Will definitely come back while I I am in this neck of the woods. Cheers.
Got the large ribeye, medium rare, great flavor but awfully chewy. Didn't seem like a top choice. Got large portabella and it was very bland. Disappointed but love other dishes there so will definitely return. .

Yah baby. I had a local tell me this place has been around 67 years. I thought why not? After a day at the military park I was hungry ! Man the Beechwood Classic hit the spot. The steak was perfectly cooked. Melted in my mouth and their au jus is fantastic. Large fried shrimp and a nice hot bun. I punished myself the white chocolate bread pudding. This is a local gem !
