Finding a good cup of coffee when I’m traveling is a hobby of mine for sure. Sometimes you find great places and amazing people and other times…well that’s type 2 fun. Black dog is awesome! The staff is so friendly and helpful and their coffee was so good I had to buy a second cup for the road!!

My first time trying BDC, and it is my new favorite coffee place! I'm new to town, so I've been trying different shops and this one is my favorite hands down ? The baristas were so nice, the atmosphere is so chill, and of course I'm a huge dog lover...the billboard in the back with all of the doggy photos is so sweet! I had the baristas choose my drink, and I tried their iced honeycomb latte, and it was SO yummy! Highly recommend checking them out! ☕ ?

Nathan was incredibly knowledgeable about the different coffees they had available. I left with plenty of advice about techniques I’d been trying out at home along with two bags of excellent beans from Revel coffee. He made the experience extremely enjoyable, and I will definitely be back for more espresso, bean, and advice.

Cold. Slow. No ambiance. Nothing special about the coffee or service. It is a cold space with nothing remotely coffee shop about it. Location too far from highway. Maybe locals like it.

I think this coffee shop has the highest rating all across Billings according to Yelp, which was a pleasant surprise because I was not sure which cafe shop I should go to, but I ended up here as I was looking for somewhere near the hospital area. The place has a fun, cozy, youthful vibe. It's not located right at the heart of downtown Billings, but it's nice because there's a lot of free street parking nearby. They sell various coffee and baked goods. I went for a hot cup of Americano because it's freezing outside. It was delicious. I also tried the Quiche and wow, I have to say it's REALLY good. Drink prices were excellent, food is slightly on the pricier side but good portion. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended

I ordered A brown sugar latte and it was terribly sweet so I asked if they could just make me a new one and I offered to even pay for it but Mariah Was so sweet and kind and just made me a new one! Best customer service!

Delicious pastries, great coffee, superb service, and a gorgeous, dog-friendly space. What more could you ask for in a neighborhood cafe? The price point is on the high end but the quality of the food and drink are unmatched in Billings. Highly recommend.
Delightful ambiance on 24th Street original Cafe , @ Roots on Poly and @ Harper and Madison. Kids like the tiny donuts. The outdoor seating is especially nice at Harper and Madison on 10th Avenue. Stumptown coffee is a plus and never bitter. Nice pastries and usually able to find seating altho Sat a.m. can be hectic at any of the three spots. Only downside is the limitation on one refill for plain coffee.

I'm a Wisconsin resident and get breakfast Sammy's back home all the time. I was craving one this morning and black dog did the trick. I ordered online to go and it was ready when I arrived - coffee still hot. I wish I would've stayed to eat inside because the place is a super cool vibe. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be back.

Billings seems to have several coffee shops. I chose this one because it was close to my hotel. It’s located in a neighborhood instead of a commercial area, so most of the parking is along the street. Good latte and a friendly staff.
