Was in there Sunday 4/21/24 with a friend. I thought our server did a fairly good job. She appeared to be new so I give her a little bit of grace. My biggest complaint was with the cashier when we went up to pay. She has waited on us before. She needs some lessons on customer service.

This place needs some serious help! The service on our latest visit was dreadful, the waitress seemed to have fallen off the face of the earth, and the corn was dry. The grilled tenders seem to have sat out for quite a bit and we had to wait to get our mac n cheese, when we did it was soupy and nothing like it should be. The waitress ignorantly said it looked how it’s supposed to, when we requested a new mac n cheese it took a whole hour! On top of that, they had to remake a takeout order we placed three times, because it had mac n cheese for the sides. The manager was apologetic during the horrible wait time, which they believed would only be 25 minutes but turned into an hour. The mac n cheese was better the second time around and they took some stuff off the bill but the service is still definitely uncalled for. Hush puppies were also disgusting this time. The only redeeming quality of the meal was the cod,which was delicious.

First time coming to eat here and would 100% recommend and will be back Zac the associate manager was very helpful my wife almost had a allergic reaction and he wavied the price amd substituted the meal to help her out and the waitress eden was amazing as well very helpful-Gaybees
Food was good, not great. The issue was that the chicken batter was sooooo thick. Way overkill. I had the same dish in Idaho and their's was exceptional. Sometimes less is better.

So we are a regular at Cracker Barrel in Billings every Saturday morning for the past 10 years or more. We are treated very well by amber and Mackenzie. Today we arrived, were escorted to our table, a small table. I asked to be seated at a larger table. Savanna, said she didn’t have any. I pointed to a larger table in a different section. She said no, although the people that were in line behind us were escorted to the very table I requested. So my 1 star rating does not reflect on the food or the service from our server but the fact that savanna lied, bold face lied to us If this is how this individual treats customers, loyal customers, then I see why people are avoiding restaurants.

The fried pickles with Ranch were my favorite because they are so unusual to my experience. On the salad, the balsamic vinegar dressing was excellent, and the chicken was well seasoned. The cucumbers were crisp. The tomatoes were decent; the lettuce, as featured in my photo. The service was prompt and the waitress was both insightful and friendly. The atmosphere was welcoming on Easter day.
