We live in Missoula, where Five on Black on Higgins Ave is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is awesome. On a visit to Billings, we were so happy to find a Five on Black near our hotel. But, the food here was awful! Cold, stale, nasty tasting. Not at all like the Missoula version.

I don’t normally write reviews but wow! After a long day of driving I wanted a real meal but trying to stay vegan on the road usually makes that hard or disappointing. I built my own bowl and this food was so nourishing and tasty, service was super quick, and my meal was about $14 which I felt was absolutely worth it for what I got.Vegetarian options: Marinated tofu and coconut based sauce was stellar!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegan options that were *good* vegan options

Love this spot! Go here everytime I am in Billings. Pretty healthy food that tastes really good. I get a bowl with rice and spring mix, churrasco chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, black beans, with the amazing spicy coconut sauce and spicy chimichurri. I highly recommend this spot when your in Billings!!

My daughter and I have celiacs and we are really sensitive. The service, knowledge and food was all so wonderful! It's so refreshing to have a place to go where we can count on it not being cross contaminated. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Such a find! Great tasting healthy food without all the additives and extra seasoning. Tilapia was delicious. Excellent service. Billings is lucky to have this place. Support it so it will stay!

Nice surprise to find in Billings when I did not know what to expect. Some assembly required but well worth it. You create your own dish and I can promise you that it will be fresh, different and have you wanting to come back.Huge portion, super low pricing...... I look forward to my next business trip to Billings and 5 on Black!

Drove all the way over here only to find someone putting chairs on tables and a sign that said they where closing at 8:00PM. We got here at 7:00PM. Super disappointing...
