Rice was ok but the rest of the family meal dishes were very disappointing. The egg drop soup was thick and chunky. The almond chicken was just chicken with a few vegetable covered with nasty gravy, Mongolian beef was dried beef chunks with a lot onions and the rest of the entrées came straight out of can or were so dried out that they were inedible. We spent a lot of money on Chinese food that we ended up throwing away.

Out of desperation I decided to try Grand Garden Chinese restaurant in Billings, Montana. Like so many places to eat in Billings this too was a mistake. I ordered the 'Shrimp Egg Foo Young' $ 15.95 it was as bad as it can get, you get 3 small 'patties' ( supposed to be kinda thick with a little crust on the edges and tasty ) this looked like omelet gone bad. This places idea of 'Shrimp Egg Foo Wrong' was these 3 what looked like sink stoppers and then the " Chef " tossed in some small bay shrimp ON TOP!!! ( why mix them in as they are supposed to be ) We also ordered the Mooshu Pork, that was pretty good $17.50 however they use what looked like heavy tortillas, still pretty good but not correct. Like everything in Billings it was way too $$$$ and the Next Award they should get is the " Most Horrible Egg Foo Young " in the world. ** There are all these awards and one must wonder where did these come from and how did this place win? The restaurant looked pleasant enough and it did appear busy....the level of preparation of the dishes are not very competent unfortunately.

Rudest staff I've seen, anywhere in the world. We came in for the buffet (per internet search and front door ad). We saw only an empty buffet and asked about it when she seated us. The woman said it's only weekends and asked if we were staying or going, as she put the menu down. I looked at my husband to see what he wanted and before he could even start to answer, she said "That will be a no" as she grabbed up the menu and walked away. Yep, it became a no. A forever no.

Not sure what happened to this restaurant. My husband, daughter and I came in February 10. Was informed that we had to order off the menu because was too late for the special buffet. Fine, understandable. The orange chicken without any orange in it just overwhelming soy sauce? Not understandable. My chicken satay without a single mushroom but loads of red and green peppers along with onion? Does the chef know what the menu lists? The general tso was okay. After pointing out how nasty the orange chicken was the waitress brought additional sauce. Yay, more overwhelming soy sauce "orange sauce". Then the bill for the full amount. And I get to go to the store to buy the mushrooms that should have been in my dish. Disappointing to say the least.

The service was good despite how busy it was, however, the chicken tasted like it was cooked in old oil, and the sauce was they used was of similar quality. The fried rice and the jello were ok, but the egg rolls were the only *good* food items that I had.

My husband and I ate here last night. We have eaten here in the past and never had any issues with the food or the service. Not anymore. We spent almost $50 on 2 buffets, not including drinks. We were there for almost an hour, was only able to get about a half a plate of food as almost the entire buffet was empty. We could not get any soup either as it was empty or clean bowls were not available. We said something to our waitress who replied that it wasn’t her fault. I spoke to the manager on duty and was given the excuse that they were training someone new. WILL NOT BE BACK!!!

I had combination meal for 1, the pork was terrible . Chicken was worse , terrible seasoning probably worst Chinese food I have ever had . Only thing good was the egg roll and rice. Be warned about the chow mein it didn't come with any noodles .
