Food is great. Our waitress was over the top accommodating though to the point that it felt like she was coming by every 2 minutes. It drove me nuts!

the food was delicious. i had the filet mignon & my boyfriend had the bison medallions. both were cooked perfectly & had such great flavor. we had the potstickers for an appetizer, they were yummy but i didn’t love the sauces they came with though.. we also had the apple cider bourbon and a glass of wine- both super tasty! erin was our server & she was personable and very attentive. will definitely go back ?

The 3 entrees that were cooked on the grill all had black burnt crust on bottoms. The one entree that was not cooked on the grill was very good. My son wanted his hamburger medium but it was very very well overcooked done, He didn't eat it. The salmon would have been better if it didn't have a black crust on the bottom that killed the taste of the rest of it. My other son's filet minion was pink in middle but crusted black on both top and bottom. He cut the top and bottom off and ate the middle. I usually like Jake's but the cook on 2/13/24 has an issue with burning his grill food.

2nd time here for date night, both times were great! Very good steaks and great wine/beer selection. I got the rib eye and my husband got the baseball sirloin, both were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. Didn't even get pictures of the food in time! Our server Maddi was excellent...she checked in on us at the perfect times, made sure we had everything we needed, and was sweet and friendly. She deserves a raise!!

Horrible customer service as the bar doesn’t appreciate its regulars unless you’re shoveling out money to them. The one on the west end has fresher tasting food and is great tho so don’t waste your time here! (There owned separately)

Nice atmosphere, and great waiter. Three of us ate there together on a business trip. All three of us ate the same selection: Elk Medallions over Garlic Mashed Potatoes, with a side salad. The food tasted great. No complaints about anything... well, until 2:30am that night. I woke at 2:30am and felt like I needed to vomit. My stomach hurt, and I raced to my bathroom to sit on the floor. The vomit never came, but it sure felt like it was going to. The next morning, I asked the other two guys if they slept good. Both shook their heads. One said he woke up sometime around 2am and felt like he needed to vomit. The other said he woke up around 2am and had a bad stomach ache. I guess it's possible that it wasn't from the restaurant, but I suspect all three of us got a case of food poisoning. Hence, three stars instead of 5.

Well I wanted to celebrate my son’s birthday. His Buffalo Medlines look very tasty. My problem was that I ordered the Ribeye with French Onion soup and a House Salad. It was after one in the afternoon so it wasn’t crowded at all, but they gave me the salad after a short wait and like a minute later came the soup. I could understand that but before I even got to the soup they brought out the steak. I haven’t ate at Jake’s for years but always remembered how good their food was. Well I ordered the steak Pittsburgh rare. They brought me out about a 3/8 inch steak that wasn’t singed but burnt on the outside on both sides and of course the meat wasn’t thick enough for it to be cooked right. I was already feeling bad because I mentioned to the waitress that when you are having a good meal you give a customer a little time with each type of food you eat you don’t just push it out so I never said anything her about the steak I tipped her 30% because I felt bad. I guess what I’m saying better training and a better chef are maybe something they should look at. As for me I don’t think I will ever be back. They did have an excellent French Onion Soup.
