I ordered the chicken bbq sandwich (do not remember the clever name given to the sandwich) This wasn't disgusting, and that's the only reason I did not give 1 star. The chicken was bland and the breading came off pretty easily. Bbq sauce was spicy (which some will love) but I did not care for it. The Mac and Cheese for $1 more was so not worth it! The sauce was thin, didn't taste cheesy, and I don't think that the flour broke down too well... if there is no flour, then it somehow tasted grainy ? I won't be trying this place again; it's overpriced and I'm pretty sure I can make better at home.

Great attention to detail in decor, music and food. Not a lot of places in Billings are “working from the top of their intelligence.” There’s a lot of C average places to eat here. Sassy Biscuit always gets an A from me. Creative and wonderful flavor combinations plus a beautiful dining area. They even have clean bathrooms. The collard greens are excellent; they smoke their own bacon, and the garlic aioli is perfect. The only thing I would change: they don’t do tableside service, so the staff doesn’t get a chance to make bigger tips. A lot of people would not use a glass tip jar next to the cashier, especially after spending $14 on a sandwich, but they would tip well if the server was at their table. I understand all the reasons SB doesn’t do tableside service, but I like to see people hustling and making bunches of money.

Of course this is amazing and far outshines almost every bite of fried chicken I've ever had. Besides, the people on this team provide such great and invested support to their guests. Love coming here!Thank you again,Bill

Ooh my….the food at this restaurant is DELICIOUS!We were in town from ND, to take our daughter to the airport. My husband found this restaurant, so we deduced to go check it out. It’s probably a good thing that we don’t live closer, because we would eat there all the time!We went there two days in a row. The 1st day I had The Cobbler” which had blueberries and sweet lemon butter, with a side of potatoes. The second day I had the Kentucky.Hubby had the Charleston Express, which was made by Andy….and let me tell you it was so good. If you go there and Andy is in the kitchen, you won’t be disappointed! This is one of those restaurants, where a lot of love and pride is put into the food.❤️We will definitely go back there when we pick up our daughter from the airport.

Delicious food & a Yelp coupon to boot! I was in town for a few days & was looking for something for dinner. The food was hot, fresh & plentiful. My meal had enough food for 3 meals.

I went here for lunch and the place felt perfect for a quiet, tasty lunch. I had a fried chicken sandwich and I was very happy with my meal. The staff were all laid back and kind.

Stopped here for the first time, for brunch with my husband between client photo sessions, on a recommendation from our daughter. Was NOT disappointed in the food! I had the Shorties waffle dish and it was so, so delicious. I even liked the presentation. The only downers for my experience was that initially I didn't know it was seat yourself or that orders had to be placed at the counter in advance instead of being taken at the table. No biggie and now I know. The food was worth it!

Best Chicken Sandwich I've had in Billings. Wow. The Charleston Express: melt in your mouth tender and crunchy fried chicken with a unique delicious house BBQ sauce drizzle. Apple vinegar slaw, Garlic Aioli and a toasted Brioche bun. The Mac & Cheese and Baked Beans were piping hot still in the to-go containers and variations on them I've never had before. The Mac & Cheese not overly creamy and had some dill in there and the Baked Beans were so rich and savory, I have no clue how they made those. A+ meal

Was taken by surprise when I discovered this was more of a breakfast place rather than the lunch which I was expecting. Not only was the chicken sandwich was the best I have ever had! And the staff were super friendly. I highly recommend stopping in!

This was our first stop to eat at in Billings. I ate Sassy’s and my husband ate Jook’s. I had the “southern” biscuit and gravy. I’m literally from the south and I was disappointed. The biscuits were dry and the gravy was very, very thick. My husband’s chicken sandwich was one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time, though. So, definitely try Jook’s!

Food was phenomenal. Service was quick and staff is always extremely polite and attentive.

The food was excellent. The service however was not great. There were also lots of menu items that were not available. We thought the idea of Sassys and Jook together was an awesome idea but the delivery suffered.

Pretty yummy sandwiches! Chicken was great, toppings and sauces were good, bread was excellent. The sides were kind of hit or miss but generally decent. Did not like the potato salad (it had hard boiled eggs in it) but the mac and cheese was delicious. One thing not totally clear from Google maps is that this restaurant is primarily Sassy Biscuits, a brunch place, and Jook seems like a bit of an afterthought. Didn’t affect food or service though!

When you have 2 entree items on your menu and you don't have 1 it doesn't bode well. No wings available. Ok I'll get a sandwich with greens and cornbread. No cornbread available. Ok fine I'll have the baked beans. Order's in let the fiasco of food and service begin. My party of 4 received 3 dishes and the food runner didn't identify what types of sandwiches were there so because I had to change sides two dishes had the same sides but different sandwiches, my sandwich mistakenly went to someone else. Aside from that the runners walked around with no sense of purpose and seemed lost, not just with our order, but with all that came out. Their table identification is flawed. The oil was burned, all the chicken on 5 sandwiches looked cooked to temp but wreaked of burnt oil. This is just poorly run kitchen and the cooks or kitchen manager should have noticed this as it's not hard to smell or taste bad oil. I can only assume that the fryers are not cleaned regularly. Also having 6 people on shift rambling about aimlessly is hardly good kitchen management. It's no wonder they have to charge $16 for a poorly made chicken sandwich with two 3 Oz cups of sides. I won't even go into how disappointed we were with the collard greens, baked beans, and potato salad. Before the meal came we had discussed coming back for the breakfast menu from Sassy Biscuit as it's the same location. But given its the same kitchen we decided to not risk it and dine elsewhere. I wanted to overlook the poor reviews, but I got burned in the process. Thankfully not as burned as Jook's oil.

First time eating there, Checked them out online and found somethings I wanted to try, two of them were not available... couldn't find anything else for my dietary restrictions ... what I did eat in the want was excellent, a simple scrambled egg with bacon and sausage ...
