I really love Mackenzie River Pizza. The staff was attentive and it's a well decorated, spacious, very clean restaurant. The wait time for food was a bit excessive, 25 minutes (+ or -) considering the place was empty. I ordered my food without mayo and instead received extra mayo. I do not eat mayo on anything it tends to make me sick. Because we were doing a meeting/ lunch with very little time to have it remade, I just had to eat. I spent all last night being sick as a result, I don't think I'll be returning to Mackenzie River Pizza, which is a bummer because they have to be the best pizza in billings, in my opinion.

The food is good. That’s about the end of the positives. I quit coming into this place 3 years ago due to consistent slow service. I started coming again over the past year. We have, again, consistently had slow service. We were not able to get our lunch today is under an hour. I quit eating lunch here on weekdays because I can’t get food and eat in less than an hour. Spoke with the manager who expressed they are making changes but I haven’t seen any improvement from the customer side. They have finally lost my business forever. Unfortunate, because the food is generally pretty good.

I’m sad. The pizza here is usually super flavorful and yummy. We ordered a large good ol boy and buffalo wings through door dash and they send the wrong pizza it was half good ol boy and half a weird situation with celery? It was gross. The wings were disappointing too (and not cheap) I called and the girl on the phone was nice and said they could make me a new pizza but I didn’t want to drive (why I ordered delivery to begin with) so I asked if I could just get it another day and she said that was okay. When I called to redeem my make up pizza the manager on duty wouldn’t help me and “they had no record of my order and he couldn’t help me” dude,I work in the food industry; the manager can always help. They made me feel like a liar and like I was just trying to score free food or something. Makes me sad because I would much rather support a local company but they’re making it difficult

I am so disappointed it this company as it is the second time we have been screwed by them. We decided to order 2 pizzas to bake at home. Two THIN crust pizzas 1 pepperoni 1 Thai. The pepperoni was good the Thai was thick crust and not 1 peanut on the pizza not 1! We also ordered cheese cake with strawberry topping but the topping never showed. Also a $ 100 gift card. So a spendy night. I believe that when I called in the order the problems began. The girl I talked to was ify. She just couldn't get things correct, so I had to repeat myself several times The staff needs to be trained better. But..to me as much as we paid both times as we have been there, we won't be back. It's just not worth it. I love the Thai pizza, but NO peanuts? Come on, really? Thick crust, really? December 23 2023 Since my review, Mxkinzie river has reached out to rectify the situation. Service was good. Good beer selection. Disappointed with the pizza however. Their thin crust was dry and had big air bubbles so the pieces were snapping. There was very little sauce and toppings. Buffalo Chicken Mac came luke-warm and chicken was very sparse. Usually love this place but don't think I'll be going back.
