Ok...wow. Best happy hour drink prices I've ever seen!!!! Went there before dinner with a friend from out of town. My wife recommended this place from college days. It did not disappoint. Started with a beer and then had a tequila shot and then on to a cosmopolitan. Everything was good and the prices were awesome!!!! Well done......cheers.

Awesome dive bar in downtown Bozeman! This bar has TouchTunes, casino games, friendly bartenders, strong pours, and frozen pizza - honestly, for a couple of tired travelers, we couldn't have asked for more! Our bartender (curly blond haired female) was so friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her! Great drinks/shots, way more affordable than other bars we've visited and a great vibe!

We wandered into the Crystal Bar, what seems to be a local hang out jammed with local lore, at around 10 pm on Sunday evening after having just arrived in Bozeman. We sidled up to the bar and soon found ourselves deep in conversation with a group of interesting and friendly locals. They showed us how to play Shake A Day and told us where to go and what to do. It was a great first stop in Montana.

I went during the day and had a seat and ordered a beer from a very nice bartender. It is a bit of a dive but definitely has some character. The crowd was a mix of locals and tourists and being a tourist, I found the locals to be very friendly. I even had two shots of Vitamin C which were just handed to me. Thanks, Bethany. The beer prices are great compared to pints in Silicon Valley. I would definitely go back.

We stopped in Bozeman for the night. We went downtown to check out this bar from the TV show Yellowstone. The music on main street festival was happening so the bar was packed. The staff was friendly. The bar decor is quirky and cool. Definitely a student crowd on this day. Cool place to check out, but it's probably better when the festival isn't happening.

The Crystal brings dynamics, drama, and love back into Montana and Bozeman. When all is lost for this old Cowboy city you can still find it here. As local drifters meet the city slickers the Crystal brings a sense of elegance and pride to the Nighlife of Bozeman.
I walked into the crystal and ordered a Moscow mule from a girl with black hair and tattoos. She proceeded to put my drink into a plastic cup to which I politely asked to have a a copper mug as that is how a Moscow mule is made. She rudely said no, so on the receipt I left a 0 dollar tip with the comment ”attitude” as to politely infer that an attitude shift is mandatory for a service worker(as one myself). After this happened said bartender came and tracked me down and stole my drink away from me (and pretty much dumped the drink on my friend and I) as she was upset what I had wrote on the check. This is super unprofessional for a bar employee and should be treated as such. I understand that sometimes a customer may upset an employee however this action taken by your bartender is completely unacceptable. I feel emotionally violated. Also she called my friend poor and he was deeply offended by that comment as he has recovered from being homeless

Went in with a group on Wednesday the 12th around 7:30pm and the bartender with black hair glasses and a shoulder tattoo was extremely rude violent with my entire group and other customers, we walked in and sat at the downstairs bar to order drinks she was extremely rude to us while we tried to order and when she found out we weren’t paying with cash she called my friend poor and refused to take our other friends order, the one of us that managed to get a drink ( the downstairs was mostly empty) did not leave a tip so she followed him and up to the rooftop patio and snatched it out of his hand and insulted him also spilling the drink all over us

Tourists and locals beware (but especially tourists). Their bouncers are abusive and ineffective. What a waste of good real estate.Over the course of a month people have been stabbed, rammed against dumpsters by angry drivers, and arrested under false pretenses (usually Florida and Californian tourists). Do I have a vendetta? Yes. But screw the owners and their feudal interests. Some of their bouncers should be arrested and the bar tenders can find new jobs. I urge others to come forward with their horror stories. If one person (me) makes these accusations, they are a loon (but it's in the papers!). If two people come forward, it's a conspiracy. But if three people do it, then it's a movement. And if fifty people come forward, well, then there's no denying. The crystal bar needs to go.
