Micheal, the owner, is amazing! He made my husband and I feel welcomed and appreciated while having our Easter dinner here. I would 100% recommend their food and drinks. If you’re staying in Bozeman or a local you definitely should make a stop here.

Fantastic service, really cozy ambience, and the food was *excellent.* I recommend the pastas (carbonara or elk bolognese) and the green bean tempura was perfect. Kind of wish we’d found this place earlier on our trip because we definitely would have eaten here more than just once!

Favorite date night spot! If you go you must try their mussels. Great atmosphere with an awesome owner. Never seems to be too loud to enjoy a conversation. In the past they have squeezed us in when we didn't have a reservation.

Very slow service, waited almost 2 hours after ordering for our entrees. Food was poor quality. Will not be going back

The food is fantastic, especially their mussel appetizer - the best around. We've been in 7 or so times and the service has always been great. The cocktails menu is large and has something for everyone - most fairly priced drinks in downtown. Plus, the owner Michael is around making sure you're taken care of.If you're in Bozeman and looking for a great meal, the Squire House is the spot. Highly recommend!

Wow! What a lovely evening! Celebrating our daughter's birthday, Michael and our server Jim, made the meal and time such a wonderful and memorable experience! Brussel sprouts and calamari for appetizers, soup and salads, two of us had the flat iron steak & frites, I had the petite filet, and one had the carbonara. Every dish was excellent! And the Bozeman cocktail was to-die-for along with an excellent wine list. As the finishing touch, our host made sure our daughter and we enjoyed a birthday dessert of french beignets with hot fudge and decadent whipped cream. We finished dessert with coffee/Bailey's. What an incredible meal, and evening with our new friends Michael and Jim at Squire House! Thank you gentlemen! :)

Truly one of the best meals I’ve had in Bozeman! We celebrated my birthday here and the gentlemen, Michael and Jim, made it an unforgettable evening. The food was outstanding, the service top notch, and the drinks were incredible. I have been beyond disappointed by so many restaurants in Bozeman- not here! The Squire House is my new fave! We will certainly be back!

Ate at the bar. Food was good but slow. Folks next to us that ordered after us were finished eating when our meal arrived. Bartender was apathetic and her unkind sarcasm ruined my evening. Manager offered a free desert but all i wanted to do at that point was leave.

The food was as good as the hospitality. Michael is a gracious and knowledgeable host and local, and it gives “Cheers” vibes. Cocktails were creative and delicious. Elk burger cooked perfectly with a homemade onion jelly to allow mild flavor of the meat to come through. Brussels sprouts excellent too! Highly recommend!

We decided on Squire house for dinner on NYE! They had a special limited menu for the occasion. We decided first on drinks- the Purple mist and The Bozeman. They are as delicious as their descriptions state. The Bozeman is definitely a drinkers drink. Looking for fruity - try the Purple mist, it was strong but smooth. Appetizers - we wanted to try the Calamari and side salad. A little after our order was placed, we were told the Calamari was no longer available. Instead, we tried the Mac and cheese. Got a side size portion vs. full. It did not come with bacon. We later learned that only full size came with bacon. Mains- decided on the Elk Bolognese and the Scallops with mushroom risotto Our superstar of a waitress was able to bring some bacon to crumble on the Mac! Mac was good but needed a little salt. We would always rather add it than a dish be too salty. Side salad and dressing were delicious! Elk Bolognese was flavorful and hearty. Scallops and risotto was perfect for a lighter appetite. Perfect amount of food. Scallops were perfectly cooked. Risotto was creamy and cheese perfectly sprinkled. We were greeted at our table while dining and thanked for coming in. Not sure if this was owner or chef, but this was a very nice touch. Best wishes to Squire House!

First off, when our family (2 adults, 2 older children) came in, it was a Friday night around 6pm. There were maybe 4 tables seated in the entire restaurant. We stood at the hostess stand for about 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. We are a family of foodies so we are not opposed to paying high prices for meals. With that being said, the food was extremely overpriced for the portion and quality that was given. We paid $36 for scallops and risotto. The scallops were tiny, there was maybe 2 tablespoons worth of risotto on the plate and the rest of the plate was covered in large shaving of Parmesan cheese that were inedible. My husband had the beet salad and he said the beets tasted like they were straight from a can. We should have caught the red flag when the table next to us had to send their Oder of French fries back because they were completely burnt!

Pretty decent restaurant/bar inside the AC Hotel. Crew was a bit overwhelmed. Food was actually quite good.
