My husband and I stopped in today to get a couple Pastys to take home with us and cook later. After we paid we were given our cold pastys to go along with a free hot one covered In gravy to try. So very generous of the owner. It was delicious! We will definitely be making this a stop every time we pass through Butte. Thank you again!!

This place has probably the best pasties and burgers in town, very friendly atmosphere and there service made me feel like I had been going there every day for years. The owner came and chatted asked where I was coming in from, recommended some site seeing and hiking/ fishing spots. I would recommend everyone to try there food.

If you are visiting Butte, Montana, then I would recommend to visit Joe’s pasty shop. They also have frozen pasty that you can bring home and just heat it up on microwave.The shop is not fancy, but the pasties are greaaaat, and the service is even greater.Parking: At the front of the shop

Very credible pasty. Get the gravy - the crust is crusty-in a good way- and the gravy is a good partner. The filling has a generous ratio of meat to potato. I'm from Michigan and pasties are a staple there in the Upper Peninsula. Joe's quality stands right among those I'm familiar with back home. Get some slaw on the side and enjoy. Give Joe a visit - keep this place in business. This country doesn't need more chains. Mark D

A friend and were traveling to Virginia City, MT.We stopped in Butte and went to"Joe's Pasty Shop" to check it out and happy And glad we did. I tried the Pasta d it was spectacular. The shell was egg wash, and inside chunks of beef and potatoes with gravy all around the plate.It was quite good and reasonably priced for todays prices.Check it out Yourself :>)
