I am in town for a class at Montana Tech and don't have a car, so I walked up to the window and the lady working didn't shoo me away. She was super nice and helpful. The options for flavors were a lot, I was intrigued by the huckleberry and asked her opinion, she suggested pairing it with white chocolate. So I did an iced latte with those flavors. BOMB. I may get an extra shot if I order it again to balance it a little better, but the espresso is really smooth and the flavors are complimentary. Super good! Will definitely visit again!

I enjoy their coffee and food but have gotten the wrong item or my coffee is cold when delivered 3 different times.. If you go thru drive thru its perfect.
Best coffee in Butte! They were busy with the morning rush but we only waited a few minutes and it was definitely worth the wait! Coffee was amazing and they were cheerful and friendly.

Was so excited to find this place made bubble tea and ordered the Taro Bubble Tea and it was disgusting! The boba pearls were so hard and tasted like plastic. The tea part didn’t look or taste anything like it should have and wasn’t mixed all the way. There were pieces floating around in the tea. Myself, my husband and two kids all ordered the same drink and they ALL were terrible. The only reason I’m giving this a 3 star is because the girl that was working there was very kinda and quick. Unfortunately I cannot remember her name but she was the only part of the experience that was any good. I probably won’t be getting boba from there again even though it’s one of the few places that sells it around that area.

This is such a cute drive through coffee shop/cafe in Butte! The menu is really interesting and has a lot of custom offerings. My husband and I drove through here and ordered our regular drinks -- an iced green tea and a regular latte with whole milk. Both drinks were good and got the job done. It would be fun to go back and try some of their specialities. Each drive through coffee shop I've been able to check out in Butte has had something unique to offer, and Mining City Mud is no exception! Final tip - there are some nice views not too far away from here, so I would recommend getting a treat here and then enjoying it somewhere nearby that has a nice view.
