“I took my family to the freeze during our trip to Fort Benton, just for a snack and ice cream. The ice cream was good. And the patio area was nice too, but the place was super expensive. For ice creams for 4 of 5 people, and a couple snacks, not even any meals, it was $54.That’s a bit much for me. It was nice to have that place though, and there’s not much competition, as the town is tiny and there are very few choices for ice cream or food at all. Their version of the Blizzard was called a Razzle, and it was good. For the location, this place was an oasis, but compared to similar places elsewhere, it was lacking. I’d go again though, only because there was no other choices! If you are in Fort Benton and it’s hot, you’ll appreciate the Freeze, even with the cost.“
“I had dinner here while a guest of the hotel. Union Grille is easily the best restaurant within considerable driving distance of Fort Benton. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was very good. The trout entree/main course was excellent, although the portion size could have been an ounce or two bigger. The wine list was extensive and very reasonably priced. Service was attentive and what you'd expect for the price. All things considered, zero complaints. I will return.“
