3 stars because the bartenders are awesome and honestly they deserve 5 stars. The owner Brian on the other hand deserves 0 stars.The bartenders were friendly, nice, and provided top notch service even while very busy.The bar was fun, had live music, and was enjoyable.Here's where the bad review starts.Brian the new owner got an attitude with us after asking a question.Back story: my mom has bartended for for atleast 20 years. In almost every bar she's worked in the bars usually buy a drink after a customer buys a certain amount of drinks. My mom asked Brian the owner if that was something he does. She did not ask for a free drink or say anything rude, she simply asked if that was something they did there judt because she was curious. Brian, the owner, then became quite belligerent with us. He accused my mom of stealing from her work places, he was cussing at us and yelling, and being just very unprofessional. I don't think I will ever return to Bennie's because of the owner. If I do return it would be because the bartenders were great.

local restaurant/bar. Decided to try for dinner as I didn't feel like cooking. It was only okay. Poor quality hamburger. Advertised chicken tenderloin sandwich but was a chicken patty. Really, I haven't had chicken patties since college plus they got a lot of money for a chicken patty. Would not recommend their chicken. Have heard their specials are pretty good so may try again

I work in Frenchtown so I had to stop here after a drive in the woods. It was such an unwelcome atmosphere. We stayed for one. I think the owner was the one rude to his bartender. I don’t need to hear this. Great service bad atmosphere
