Finally tried this.tried to go 2 other times but,the owners were on vacation at time and it's just them running it until they can get more help.they also have a food truck they use and hours are scattered right now between the 2 businesses.best to call before driving to Frenchtown Montana or find out when their truck will be out.food was fine.i would have wanted more seasoning on my burger.liked some of their bbq sauces and choice.rest of the food was fine.owners were nice.their food truck gets alot of traffic when in downtown Missoula when it's in the warmer months for events.

Really enjoy the food and the service. The menu is great, the pizza is outstanding, all around nice BBQ experience with down to earth service. I lived in the heart of BBQ for 12 years and would choose to eat KABBQ even if I was in Texas.

Been looking forward to trying this restaurant as Frenchtown lacks many choices. Unfortunately our experience was less than stellar. Food was cold, fries were oversalted and the portion size, considering the cost of the meal, was extremely small. The flavor of the meat was good but given the cost for the portion size we're not likely to return.

Best bbq in western montana. Heaping portions, great flavor and great combinations. The restaurant in Frenchtown is nice, clean, and the staff is super friendly. Be sure to catch the truck in places like Seeley lake over the fourth and the helmville rodeo. The owners are people connected to the community and always help their neighbors. This is a must stop in the Missoula area.

Always enjoy eating here, great conversations with the staff and always have some good laughs. Portion sizes are very good as I have never left hungry at a very reasonable price and is always a plus knowing we are supporting a local restaurant who uses local beef. Food is great, we highly recommend stopping in.Kid-friendliness: Kids love coming here and they are great about going out of there way for them on there meals.

Eaten here twice within the past few months. Got the brisket both times, both times it was amazing! Probably the best BBQ restaurant that I've had in MT; maybe ever.I'm pretty picky too..?

I ate at the food truck and I was very excited to try it. However, it is way overpriced and the food is nothing to get excited about. I ordered a brisket sandwich that came with 2 sides for $18.00. The sandwich was tiny and only had a small amount of brisket with a ton of bbq sauce. The sides were small mushy Mac and cheese and bland beans. Definitely not worth the price. The gal that was taking my order was also not personable at all. I will not order from them again unfortunately.

worst barbecue i’ve ever had. we ordered brisket, which was insanely tough, chicken tacos, which you could barely even chew, and the frenchtown burger. When we opened the burger, they only gave us a hamburger patty!!! we also got max and cheese and it was undercooked leaving gross chunks of cheese inside. if you’re thinking about getting good barbecue, DONT COME HERE.
