I ordered a hamburger, requested it be cut in half. It was and even wrapped the halves separate. Never had anyone do that before. Really surprised! Good hamburger.

The burgers here are easily the best in Helena! Highly recommend trying their fries as well.Only downside to this place is it is connected to a bar (Gold Bar) and does not have too much seating. The food is very good though!Vegetarian options: The salads here are fantastic.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bun available.

This place is nestled into the Gold Bar with a separate ordering counter. Cool old time saloon feel in the bar. The menu is about as simple as it can get but they are doing excellent with what's there. The burger is just a few quality ingredients, put together well. The potatoes though are absolutely awesome. Definitely worth stopping by for these crispy, creamy, salty, super dipable potatoes. I would recommend to anyone. The horseradish dipping sauce is a standout of you like a little bite.

These guys nail the basics - which is exactly what I want from a burger in a bar. Quality beef, good bun, cheese, pickles, onion, sauce. Oh and beef fat potatoes are excellent. Prices reasonable. Keep it up.

So this place seems to be tied to the meat processor a little ways down the road, as they claim te be using 100% Montanan beef for their burgers. But I'm not sure why then the thin burgers are so pricey. They sure taste good, but I can get a double bacon cheeseburger from five guys for less than what they charge.Unfortunately if you want something other than liqyor you'll have to look elsewhere. The drink common drinks selection is abyssmal. And while Marty Mcfly wouldn't have to dunk his head in the horse trough, their water solution isn't much better: a small self-serve machine with tiny cups.I'd suggest to the owner to contact the local pepsi distributer to improve on their drinks collection, and get in stock some local Montana's Treasure Bottled Water.
When people are hungry they want a decent burger patty. Am not sure what the paper thin patty concept is all about, other than less food for more money. I like the flavor of the food however highway 55 or suds hut is my go to, sadly. I see why the bar is such a good fit, you'd have to be drunk to want to spend that kinda money on a skimpy burger patty. THIS IS MONTANA WE LIKE TO EAT HERE!
