Great bar and service!They don't take reservations, which can be inconvenient for some. They do serve a full menu if you can get a bar seat, but only serve apps if you're seated at the bar area, but not at the bar itself.We walked in on a Saturday night during a snowstorm. We were told a 30 min wait, so put our names in and searched for a bar seat. We lucked out and got 2 right at the end. The bar tender was pretty busy, but got to us soon, and we ordered 2 drinks and an app while we waited for our table in the dining room.Our drinks and app came out quickly, and we were seated almost immediately after. Our server, Belle, was sweet as can be and chatted with us as we asked questions about Helena and her being a local.Our meal was delicious and very filling. Appropriate portions and exactly as expected.Overall fantastic experience and food!

The atmosphere in this place is nice. The service was also pretty good. But the food, I honestly couldn’t tell you we enjoyed a single thing - even down to the fountain Coke + Diet Coke. Fountain drinks were flavorless.We ordered an appetizer from their specials list, the mojo shrimp, and we both took one bite and didn’t touch the plate the remainder of our time there. The shrimp was luke warm and very bland.My sister ordered the lasagna and I ordered the salmon dinner. All of their dinners come with a side salad for starters - the house lime vinaigrette was pretty good on the salad, however I requested no cheese on mine and it came with cheese, so I could only eat around that. My sister’s lasagna was okay, my salmon was okay as well, but the rice was luke warm and flavorless. Not a knock out socks off meal for sure.We did not order any alcoholic drinks, however they did look like they were made well! The bar is large and the atmosphere of this place seems as though it would be a good little spot for a drink. If you’re looking for a spot, I would give it a shot for a drink!

Traveled here from Lewistown. Food was absolutely delicious from the appetizer, to the salad, to the entree, to the desert, and the staff and our server, EMILY, were/was nice, friendly, professional.. You'll not be disappointed!!!
They have an amazing system down, and we got seated and taking care of right away.. foods always gourmet .. We go here for special occasions!!

We've been several times in the past- and it's always been great.We were in this last Monday. Things were great as always- my wife was able to get the steamed artichoke (usually it sells out too quickly).Our server, Maleen O, was awesome. Great service, left us alone as needed---- checked on us frequently as needed. There was a small hiccup with my food---- she fixed it cheerfully and quickly.All-in-All, another great night at On Broadway. We drive up here from Butte frequently- and will continue to come back for great food and service.

A big shout out to Aspen last night! She was doing an amazing job with both her service and fabulous quick wit!On Broadway has a very comfortable environment with fun semi private booths and upstairs tables overlooking the restaurant. The lasagna, cannelloni, shrimp and scallops pancetta, and blackened ahi are all outstanding. I’m not a fan of the chicken Marsala, but maybe that’s just me. Do know that they don’t take reservations and that you may spend an hour on the very comfortable bar side. I’m fine with that as we just start our meal with appetizers and drinks there before moving to the restaurant side for the next phase of the meal. Also, Sean is an amazing longtime waiter there and I recommend getting a table with a view of the beautiful Livezey painting.
We've been going to On Broadway for 40 years and have always enjoyed the food, atmosphere and wonderful service. Yesterday their online ordering system wasn't working correctly. I sent a message and Patrick went the extra mile to make sure we got our dinner. On Valentines Day no less, now that's great customer service! Thank you! ?

One of the best places in Helena. If you're looking for a cozy, private atmosphere, this is the place to go! If you don't make it for the first seating, plan to wait a bit as this place is always packed and they do not take reservations. It is worth the wait, though. Great food and great drinks; I highly recommend it!
Hostess was very nice and went and got my food quickly when i arrived, that was the end of my experience inside. The food was bland and cold, my wife and I ordered the sweet crab pasta, had no flavor i had to recook on my stove added seasoning and heat up as it was cold, portion size for price is crazy, my son ordered well done beef steak when he cut into it it was mid rare no seasoning he had to recook the steak to get it to desired temp and add own seasoning, daughter ordered the linguine alla broadway with no mushroom or spinach it was even on the side of the box, it had both mushrooms and spinach in the dish, salads were inconsistent, as a chef and family of cooks i would be extremely disappointed to serve this to customers.
