We were very excited for this dinner. The $80 set up with two appetizers, entree and dessert was a great deal. The carpaccio appetizer and Gorgonzola and spinach salad appetizer were delicious. The pasta carbonara was horrific. It tasted like ramen noodles with a salted carbonara packet. It was a real disappointment. The service was hit or miss. At times it felt like you were the only customer and other times no one checked in with our table.

This was the first time we have eaten at Bella Roma and it ended up being an amazing night! The hostess caught us outside wondering if we needed a reservation. The restaurant just finished with a large group and the dining room was clear, she welcomed us in with the sincerity that is lacking at many establishments nowadays. (Already off to a great start!) Granted it was just the two of us and it was very late in the evening, making the atmosphere was even more romantic and the ambiance was flawless. Our waiter Drew was knowledgeable about the drinks and the courses, also showed his great attention to detail as he cleared our plates at convenient times. The food we had ordered was cooked to perfection! To my surprise, the lasagna was better than any type of pasta I’ve had at Mediterranean Grill and On Broadway, putting an emphasis on the term “authentic” Italian food. The cannoli was easily the best I’ve ever had (I can only compare to Brooklyn Pizza, which is already better than store bought), and the tiramisu was better than Park Avenue’s. We will definitely eat there again!

From the moment we walked in the door, throughout the service, to the chef coming out of the kitchen to hug my mother, everything was delicious and extra special. We had lasagna and carbonara, couldn’t stop eating, every bite showed the care and talent of the chef. We found out later, the whole family was home and cooking together. Thank you so much for a very special evening. As we left we met a lady named Laura walking her australian tri colored shepherd named Tucker and proceeded to persuade her to book her anniversary dinner here and not wait until June to celebrate!!!!!

This was quite literally the worst place I have ever ate in my life. My family of 12 had all different types of food and all of it was not up to par. When the bill came they gave themselves a 25% tip and over charged 5 of our meals and were condescending about “accommodating” us because we counted our party wrong (personal opinion…it makes you more money so why complain) so they “accommodated” themselves. Will never go again and do not suggest anyone else going as I have heard the over charging is quite common.

Quite possibly the worst meal ever for the ridiculous amount they charge. We Went to Jimmy John's after to eat a decent meal. The chicken was horrible. The noodles weren't thoroughly cooked through. I wish I trusted my instinct and we went to On Broadway or EVEN

Many items on the menu were not available, but the weather may have been the issue. The kitchen yelled across the restaurant for the server often, and she was the only one there. It wasn't crowded, but for one person it was busy. $14 for a small salad, $30 for Lasagna. It was decent food. There is no bathroom so you have to go to the hotel next door to go. The lighting was very bright so it lacked an intimate feel.
