We love Steve's and eat here often. Based solely on our last visit the service is only 4 stars as our waitress forgot to put our order in. We saw the other tables come and go. We did not even get checked on by our waitress, nor could we get her attention for refill on coffee and to ask about our order. She skipped over us when refilling coffees at the other tables. After almost One Hour she quickly said our order was lost and they'd get right on it. We waited 15 more minutes and the food came out. There was no kind of compensation to us and I do believe that was wrong, she should have done something for us.

One of the best breakfasts in Helena! The pancakes are really good along with the chicken fried steak! I also like their scrambles. Only complaint is that the wait can be a little long and the place isn't the biggest. Stop by Steve's if you are in the area!

My husband and I don’t get out much to eat, especially with this economy and today we did. We waited almost 45 minutes for our food, husbands omelette was all wrong, did not get toast for another 15 minutes and half of that was dropped on the floor by the server. No longer recommend the shrimp omelette. They use to be so good. Don’t think we will be back. This place is not the same.

The food was good and the portions were adequate. Our waitress (Cheri) was very polite and attentive. Will Be back again. ate here again on July of 22 and not such a good experience this time. They were busy but we waited for our food for a good 30 min. A bit much. Then my toast came out burnt. I don't know why it was even brought out to my table. It should've of been thrown away and re done. 2-225-24. My husband had eggs over medium and they were as runny as the eggs over easy which could have a little more sustenance. Otherwise as usual, the food and service was really good. And we enjoy coming here every week if possible.

Had a end table would not let us have a high chair said blocked the path, they never walked by it , service was terrible, use to get big strips of bacon, got a dozen for my party, they were little strips, I paid cash left a decent tip should have not, then as we were leaving they tried to stop us saying we had to pay first, we walked back to the table gave them the cash and tip, should of just paid and not given them the tip!!! Went way downhill very disappointing

Very cool diner style place with an extensive menu and great service! My companions had a fantastic bison burger and bison melt, and French onion soup. My blt was great and loaded with bacon! Thank you!
