Amazing atmosphere: beautiful historical building with massive chandeliers, paintings and comfy couches in the lounge area.Food and drinks were delicious: we had the green curry mussels and the prime rib (their Sat special) and both dishes exceeded our expectations!Highly recommend!

They did not have our reservation and questioned us on which place we reserved since there are two locations. I showed them it was Helena location. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The food was salty and not very good.

Local boy here. I have tried to support the MT Club for yrs. So many things to say, but today I thought heh, I will go there one more time, the atmosphere is awesome, the website is beautiful. However the site had 2 different times they are open. 4:30 pm was the latest. I was there at a little after 5pm. Nope, doors locked. WTHey? JMC

I am very satisfied and impressed with the quality of food and cocktails from the Montana Club. Under the new Executive Chef and management, there has been a marked improvement in the quality of food and service. This is an important institution in our state's history, and there is a lot of turn of the century ambiance here. I am excited for the next phase of the Montana Club.Visitors: grab a cocktail and some small plates in the main dining room. Sit back in the low-back leather chairs. The beverages are excellent and the ambiance is nice for a private conversation or a group.

There is nothing Fine about this place! It was absolutely disgusting! The card table they sit you on feels like it’s going to collapse and dear lord the chair are so flimsy so I’m pretty sure there is a weight limit.The Filet was so tough. I thought because I ordered medium but my son ordered medium rare and both were tough. They served this nasty potato slices with some tasteless sauce and cold corn with onions. Picture attached is when you walk in.

We love the elegant ambience of this grand old place. The staff are favorites and the 4 wines selected for us by Sye were outstanding. Malina and Rachael served up an amazing appetizer of chicken scewers in a delicious peant sauce. A wonderful evening. Always a pleasure and very good for conversation. The Montana club restaurant in Great falls my favorite every weekend. Come home from the hospital working. They have my order ready. We went from my birthday 58th birthday. Beautiful time. Got 58% off . I had a good time. You guys are awesome! Thank you!

Staff was helpful and wonderful. Only one waiter for the entire restaurant was surprising. Food was a flop. My steak was way overcooked, I sent it back ( which is very rare for me to do). They brought me a new one and it was awful in flavor and still not at the correct temperature. The setting could have been enhanced with some light music, the lights to the chandeliers were off which was disappointing. I hope they turn it around.

Went here for girls' night to celebrate our birthdays and had incredible service, delicious food and drinks. The menu was very creative and we each ordered something different. Our waitress, Jess, had previously worked at a winery and helped us select a wonderful wine. Cocktails were lovely and presented beautifully. It was a spectacular evening.

We had a great experience at the original Montana club the other evening. The scallops were delicious and perfectly cooked! Wow. There is no dress code, just in case anyone is wondering. And no requirement to be a member to eat.

My wife and I had dinner with friends last night at the Montana Club. We all enjoyed our dinners, and were impressed by the food and wine choices. Entrees were creative and portions were generous. The dining room was nearly full when we departed, leaving us optimistic that there can be a future for the Club. We hope so, as we agreed when we got home that we will make the Montana Club a regular destination for dinner in Helena. We encourage the owners to find a way to keep this gem available to Helena diners.
