I've been here several times in the past and wasn't 100% satisfied. The steaks ordered at the table were too peppery, which took away from the natural flavoring of the meat. The duck brrast and salad ordered was perfect. The desserts were moderate. The staff appeared to be distracted... wine poured into water glass upon opening bottle; not a classy move and was pulled away several times by others. I cannot say enough good things about the meal I had here! The duck was cooked perfectly and the flavors so layered with the risotto.adding to this. My dining partner had the bison which was equally prepared perfectly. Literally the best meal I’ve had in a long time in any state! The service by Sam was well, timed, friendly, and professional too. By far the best service in Helena
