Outstanding restaurant!! We travel a lot and love to find world class food in out of the way places. We loved the lamb dish so much we thanked the chef personally. Great experience and highly recommended the restaurant in general and the lamb particularly.

Honestly the best restaurant in the valley. They knock it out of the park in all aspects every time we’ve been here. Food is top notch, service is wonderful, ambiance is lovely. My favorite place for date night and family dinners. If you haven’t been here yet, do yourself a favor and try it.

Hooray! Kalispell! And move over Whitefish...It's been a long time since Kalispell was on my restaurant radar, but the drought has been lifted! Had an exceptional dinner at the Freestone (attached to the Hilton Gardens in South Kalispell) last evening (with friends who had already been there three times in the last few weeks!)Executive Chef Jeans Matheros continues his deft artistry with herbs and spices that subtly elevate the average to the sublime... a dusting of harissa, a delicate touch of toasted cardamom, a brush of saged butter. Nothing precious here, just quality sourced product handled with respect and presented beautifully at a price that won't empty your bank account. The service was solid and unobtrusive, albeit a bit rushed between courses... Slow down kids! The Freestone is for savoring - both the excellent food and the spacious, attractive dining room - with friends and good conversation. And don't forget dessert! The sticky pudding is worth a visit just for itself!Thank you Chef Jeans and crew for a delightful evening.

The food and service were both excellent! Can’t wait to try more dishes here. The bison short ribs were great, locally sourced.

Outstanding and amazing service and food! Got away for a girls dinner and we were not disappointed! Our waitress was absolutely delightful! Host was super sweet too and took some pictures for us. Prices are relatively cheap compared to other nice restaurants. Definitely recommend!

We have been to this restaurant twice and each time the food has been delicious! You start off seated and greeted by the lovely wait staff. The starting courses are soft warm bread rolls with a whole roasted garlic bulb. The menu has something for everyone and includes GF options. The drinks are good and the atmosphere is beautiful. Full wine menu and liquor choices. Food has deep and delicious flavor notes topped and sided with savory sides and toppings. This is some place you can enjoy on an average night, or bring your family and enjoy the fine dining experience, theres something for everyone. End the night with the bread pudding like we did and you cannot go wrong!

Nathan took great care of us. Beautiful warm bread and roasted garlic with Genesis Kitchen oil and vinegar. Mission Fig and Apple salad to start. My husband had the 14oz Ribeye, I enjoyed Branzino. Nice find on OpenTable. We have been supporting them for years. We live in Whitefish.... Thought it was crazy that a customer thought it was expensive. Totally worth the drive in a Winter night.

We could not have asked for a better wedding anniversary. From the time we got there, to the wonderful service by Jordan to the phenomenal food...it just doesn't get any better!

I took my wife and daughter here on Feb. 15. The hostess was wonderful our waiter was great. The problem occurred when my wife received her $15 glass of house wine. It appeared to be a bit small so I approached the bartender and said “bartender to bartender this seems a bit small”. He said I guarantee it’s 6oz do you want me to bring out a measuring cup? I said no, I have bartended a while and I wouldn’t send out a glass with this amount. I went back to the table and then a woman came up and said I heard you thought we short poured your wine? I said don’t worry we’re fine. She then took a measuring cup and said this is 5 oz and poured it in a glass. I said I understand, don’t worry she did it again and talked about their wine glasses. i explained I didn’t think it was a short pour I just think it should be more for $15 house wine. By now the whole restaurant is looking at us so again I said don't worry I understand. But she continued on again, I then stated I am semi intelligent and I get what you’re saying, I just think it should 6/7 oz. But she kept going so we all said it is fine don’t worry, as again everyone is staring at us as she was getting louder. She finally walked away and my daughter said that was inappropriate, the woman must have heard as she stopped threw up her hand and started to turn around and then decided to walk away. We were publicly humiliated for asking about the amount of wine poured. 5oz is the standard and I was fine, we are used to more in the places we visit. She did not charge us for the wine which was nice but I would have gladly paid the money to not have an uncomfortable 5 min discussion in front of everyone.

The service was the best service Ive had in my lifetime. So friendly. Absolutely loved the manager, knowledgeable about her wines, big smiles. The food was very unique and well put together for taste. I enjoyed every bite. The only small issue was the ventilation From the grill. Overall a must go place to be wine and dined. 5 ?

Nice to have fine dining back in Kalispel. It's also nice to see that In addition to steaks there is a nice selection of seafood fish. We thought that the Bronzino was absolutely fabulous as well as the Seabass. The staff was attentive. We really enjoyed ourselves.
