Over 2 hours for cold overdone bland food. After being seated we waited over 20 minutes before one of us went to see if it would be possible for us to get some water ..probably another 20 minutes we finally got our order taken ...drinks came out sporadically..salad dressing promised 2x and forgotten .... over an hour later finally our 5 dinners came out in stages ..veggies cold potatoes luke warm at best and all 5 prime ribs were overcooked ( medium well ) not medium rare like ordered and cold ... we are locals and will NOT be returning ...waitress gave us all sorts of excuses...... yes they took some off bill ( thank you) but still VERY VERY unsatisfied!!!!!

New owners. Not the same place. Went for my girlfriend’s Bday and realized it was new ownership immediately by the way things were going. I don’t want to kick a new owner while they’re down, but please take my warning it is not the same place and not worth the money at all. Jagz was my favorite restaurant in the valley.

Our family’s Valentine’s dinner at Jagz was unforgettable for all the wrong reasons. Despite reserving ahead for a special evening with my three young children, we were seated in an unbearably cold room without any prior warning or apology from the staff. The absence of suitable drinks for kids and the staff’s indifferent attitude as they seated more guests into our chilly quarters turned the night comical, yet disappointing.Opting for the priciest menu items in hopes of salvaging the night did little to improve our experience, as the service remained sparse and neglectful. With my kids shivering in their winter coats, we barely managed to get through our starters before deciding to have our meals boxed up to eat at home. The evident lack of concern from management about our discomfort speaks volumes about the leadership at Jagz. A truly disappointing experience that was supposed to be a festive family outing on Valentine’s Day ended up being a lesson in the importance of customer care and comfort.

Jagz used to be a staple for steaks and seafood in kalispell, sadly it seems the food has gone immensely downhill. Most of the sides and sauces were canned . Me and my fiance both got steaks. Her “pepper sauce” was canned gravy. The green beans were straight out of a can with some stuff on top of them. Even the prime rib I’ve ordered from jagz dozens of times was rough. For the first time in my life, I sent back a steak. (Ordered med rare, was brown and well done, the second one was better but dry and chewy ) my finances steak was covered in (canned) grCy so much she couldn’t even see the cook of her steak. (Called “black pepper sauce” on the menu)Draft beer wasn’t working. Soda machines weren’t working . Half of the restaurant was closed off with tape and plastic sheeting . Not sure what the direction the new owners are trying to take this place but they shouldn’t have even been open with many things off of their menu and their facilities in complete disarray.A true disappointment to someone who has gone to jagz several times in the past and loved it. 2 stars only because the server did fine. Also half of the staff seemed to be on the phone in the dining room the entire hour we were there

My wife called and made a reservation 2 weeks ago. When we arrived, they said they didn't have our reservation. So we get seated in the banquet room, which has no heat. We ordered our food probably 10 minutes after being seated. We waited for 2 hours in the cold to be served Luke warm food that was mediocre at best. That was my first and last time going to this place.

It had been years since we had last been to Jagz, so we decided to give it a shot for a Valentine’s dinner as a family. Disappointed is a gross understatement. We had made a reservation and still, we were sat in a back area with NO HEAT with our three small children. The service was awful. Many tables had gotten up and left. We ended up getting our food to go. Overall the food was just okay, which is unjustifiable for a $300 meal. I don’t see us returning anytime soon.

when we arrived the front entrance was closed due to water pipes broke, small sign directed us to go thru the bushes on the side of the building. It was icy and no lights. When we were seated 1st thing we notice that our water glasses were filthy and our appetizer plates where greasy on the freshly set up table. It took us asking and almost an hour to get bread and water. The salads were not good. appetizers were ok. The meal was terrible, The filet Mignon was like a pre packaged steak wrapped in bacon it was so red and tough I could not eat it. the veggies were cold. My scallops were in a weird sauce that tasted like Lipton onion dry soup mix. Our reservation was at 7 and we did not get our meal until 9:30. Many people were up & leaving due to the poor service from our server. The hostess told us she was actually the janitor . We got lucky and got to sit by the fire because there was no heat working! Only small space heaters in the back room. I felt bad for all the ladies in dresses. BRRR! This has always been my favorite place to eat. Sorry to say I wont be going back. The web site says " Montana Style Kalispell's #1 Steak house fine ding at its best" sorry to say that is NOT the case. two thumbs down

We were visiting the area and showed up without a reservation at peak hours on Saturday evening. Staff was well trained, very friendly, and accommodating. The food and service were both excellent. I would definitely eat there again. I would recommend making a reservation.

I hadn't eaten here before and was really looking forward to it when I heard a Christmas party I was attending was going to be here. It was a huge let down. It was buffet style and the mains were some fish in a beige crème sauce of sorts and "prime". Unfortunately, they literally cut the prime so thin it was like a single piece of lunch meat put on our plates and they refused to cut it any thicker or provide additional. It was a group of 40 and I think they only had 1 prime for the entire group. There was 1 bowl of salad that was gone immediately and they finally brought another bag of pre-packaged salad out after multiple requests, opened it and dumped it in the bowl at the buffet. Potato was literally a pan of plain small potatoes. Not cut in a garlic butter or big enough to be bakers, just plain small potatoes. The person hosting the party was both furious and mortified all at the same time over this pathetic display of a dinner that was extremely expensive.
