“I ordered 3 large pizzas this evening from Nickerbokkers, the two I ordered for my kids were great, classic wood fired crust with cheese cooked to golden perfection. The third pizza I ordered I was stretching a bit as it was a build your own and I was aiming for a "neopolitan style or margherita", extra sauce, dollops of mozzarella and plenty of fresh basil leafs. I left a note in the special order section hoping my prayers would be answered as this is about the only place in town where this would be a feasable request. When the pizza arrived it had a note attatched to it that explained that they no longer carried fresh basil and had substituted with dried...at this point my hopes had been dashed and I left a quick google review notifying Nickerbokkers that they had let me down on my custom pizza. Now.. the important part is what happens next as we live in the 21st century where customer service has all but ceased to exist, the owner calls me up and explains that they no longer carry fresh basil as it goes bad too quickly and it hasn't been a popular enough item to keep on hand. He apologized for missing that option when he changed the toppings available on his website and apologized for not calling before substituting the dried basil to see if I wanted to change my order. He offered me a discount for the next time I come in (which I will) as the pizza is great. Moral of the story kids.. customer service is very important, there's a dozen places around town I refuse to give my business to and Nickerbokkers is NOT one of them“

“Papa murhys had decent pizza at a decent price that you cook at home. The place where it loses a star is the tip option forcing people to leave a tip. Tipping is for service they not only do not cook your food but they don't even have to clean up after you. The lost star is due to the fact that they pay a low enough wage that tipping is necesarry even though they are serving a packaged product. Fix your wages and stop trying to sell a position as tip based.“
“Finally ordered Angela's Pizza for dinner tonight. We ordered our families regular favorite boring flavors as well as the recommended taco pizza. The taco pizza was amazing, would definitely order again. All 3 of our pizzas came with plenty of toppings unlike most pizza places these days. The breadsticks were a little lacking in flavor but we did just get the regular and they do offer a garlic or parmesan one so would try one of those next time. They do have a small delivery radius but the pizza was ready as soon as we got there from our house so it was nice not having a long wait time.“

""What is it another pizza shop?!!"That kind of thing.Ahhhh the little things you take for granted.Found my granddaughter and myself literally craving good pizza, so we started a quest.Each weekend we would try another pizza shop in the valley.Most were "ok"This past weekend, just did a quick Google search and "Ranger Joes" was close by so that became our next stop.2 bites in I knew I found it, OK 1 but I was confused, maybe a fluke (also something I miss from South Jersey)IMHO, this pepperoni and cheese pizza was "EXCELLENT !Very flavorful cheese and sauce!!I've been thinking about ever since.I'll be back this weekend.If you're from a place know for great pizza like I am, I think you'll be very pleased with Ranger Joe's pizza!My granddaughter and I are grateful, thank you!“
