I meet weekly with a group of ladies and after our meeting there's always happy people playing games, visiting, having get-togethers for birthdays and events. It's kind of a hidden gem for evenings. Then I tried the coffee... a dirty spiced chai frappe with toasted marshmallow; to be exact. It was delicious. If I lived closer I'd be there way too much.

Such a huge convenience they’re open until 11 especially after a day of hiking and a long drive home. Baristas were extremely friendly even after arriving 40 mins before closing. Games available to play. Upstairs is a cute store full of goodies. Bathrooms were very clean and fully stocked. I ordered the pistachio white mocha and white chocolate mocha. Both were very delicious!

Best place in town if you need somewhere to relax. do homework and just chill. This place is perfect for dates perfect for a place to hang with friends. it’s literally perfect. the river and BRCC are the only 5 star coffee shops.

I LOVE meeting friends at The River. It is open in the evening. The atmosphere is pleasant. Their staff is great and they make a good cup of coffee.Dietary restrictions: I follow a Paleo regiment, and I am allergic to almonds. A coconut milk option would be appreciated.

So I was staying outside Glacier (Hungry Horse, MT) for some vacation recently, and needed to find some reliable wifi to catch up on some work. This place in Kalispell is open for late evenings. It is an interesting space -- it's a really big building (perhaps an old church, or maybe like a movie theater?). It was unassuming, and friendly. There were plenty of people enjoying board games and studying, and no pressure to turn tables. The coffee was fine, but not the primary reason to come. It certainly offered what I needed (good wifi, later hours, plenty of unrushed seating).

Coffee and their other drinks are absolutely amazing. Such a friendly and spacious space to hang out and relax. I was shocked at how fast the internet was and the really nice barista with the pony tail explained how they don't throttle speeds to guests like some other businesses do.If you're looking for the only place (other than a bar) in Kalispell that is consistently open late, you won't be disappointed with the River!

I'm not a coffee person but all the non coffee beverages I've had are wonderful. The staff is always friendly and a joy to see. This is not only a great place to grab a drink but also if you want to hangout with friends and play games or even just work or read. Although I think the best part is how late they are open.

How nice: a coffee shop/safe place to hang out with friends, that's open late! warm and spacious, I'm surprised that their music is diverse and welcoming. Simple menu but maybe they will expand on things like snacks, soups, etc. Nice little gem coffee bar.
