Food near tastes amazing just about the only reason I go there is for it. And their service is near perfect in my opinion. The atmosphere I really find its fine. Highly recommend this place 10/10

Restaurant is a little out dated. Our table and chairs were wobbly. Warm friendly environment. Nice staff. The filet mignon I think wasn't a good cut as it was chewy with a lot of grissel. The ribeye and crab legs were really good. I think the most annoying thing was the steak knives. They were the old school wide very dull blade almost like a very large butter knife. With the wobbly table and old dull knife it was hard to cut your steak which shook the table making it awkward and uncomfortable for other guests and myself. I would return if the knives were at least replaced with something more than an oversized butter knife. All in all it wasn't bad. Pretty tasty food. Thank you!

Great cuts, outstanding service, one of the few places around that understand the look in my eye when I say "I'd like it rare." Love the free veggie apps, great bonus. There was a dietary restriction mix-up that caused some issues later but other than that it was a wonderful dinner. If you're wondering if it's worth the drive from Missoula the answer is probably yes. Thanks Mike and fam.

The 20 oz ribeye we ordered was about half inedible with gristle and fat. Service was great as usual.

We've been coming here for the last two years, food and service is usually amazing! Not tonight. For my 30th birthday my husband surprised me with a visit here, so I did not bring my ID. When we arrived here, the host was super friendly and acknowledged our 1 year old son. We got seated right away. The host got us crayons and a high chair. The server seemed fine at first, but her service was disappointing. After our food server introduced herself, our cocktail server came to our table. My husband ordered a beer and was not ID'd (We are basically the same age). Once I ordered my drink, the cocktail waitress asked for my ID. We told her I didn't bring it since the drive there was a surprise, since we were celebrating my birthday. Over the past two years since we've been coming here, I've never gotten ID'd. Our server did not acknowledge our child and really seemed to avoid our table. Sad and disappointing.

Good quality steaks at a fair price. A line forms before they open so gwt there early to get seated witgout a wait.

Just go. You wont regret it. The prices are very reasonable for a quality steakhouse, and even though they were slammed on a Friday night, the service was outstanding.

One of our favorite places to eat at in all of Montana. Before you even receive your menu, you are in for a treat. You walk into what looks like a warm, grand log home. With its' high tongue and groove ceilings and beautiful hand scraped logs it is hard to believe a restaurant is in here. The massive wood fired fueled grill reminds you of simpler times. From the marmot perched on the purlin, to one of the largest moose mounts you'll ever see, the place has something new for you to take in with each visit. My wife and I have traveled 2-1/2 hours, got a hotel for the night just to eat here and we will do it again. Nothing bad off the menu, and from words of Will Ferrell it is all "scrumtrulescent". Steaks are cooked correctly to your liking and the seared tuna appetizer is a must, if you have never tried it. If you are looking for an excellent meal, great service and an atmosphere out of a book this is the place to go!!

Great lil’ Montana steakhouse. Steaks were delicious. Crab was good. Other fare was alright, but nothing spectacular. But if you want to eat giant ribeyes surrounded by giant moose heads, this is your spot!

I love this place, the food is very reasonably priced. This is a true Montana steakhouse, I always get amazing steak and service. They have local liquors and beers to add to the great food. I highly recommend!

It is a well-known restaurant in the area, the food feels very very fresh, the crab legs are an excellent option, because they are soft and delicious, the meat will always be good when you see giant ovens and grills, so, it could not be missed, the accompaniments can be better, in relation to the restaurant space; It has a private room with a large table in case you need to make a meal in private and the staff is also trained to serve very large tables in the same room with all the visitors ordering food a la carte, it is something rusticParking: The parking lot is large and from there you can see the beautiful hills around.
